A tru walk down memory lane. This museum houses quite a collection of toys from so many era’s, even pre-1950’s. We are in our 60’s and had quite a good time reminiscing about toys from our childhood. My daughter is in her 30’s was surprised that toys from her childhood are now in a museum :). A great way to spend an hour. You will not regret. Kudos to the curators who put this all together.

Took a Quechee segway tour led by the creator of the Vermont Toy Museum. Highly recommend visiting both.
The Toy Museum brought me back to my childhood and you could even purchase some of the collectibles!!!! Fun for all ages. Loved the model train, too!
Donation based entry, and I would pay to go again!

7.18.22 What an unexpected surprise we found on a rainy day. This place has a huge collection of old toys griuoed by decade and category. Plus connected is a country store, so you can buy food, VT made maple syrup, wines, jams, etc and it's next door is the country store. The Toy Museum is very clean, ample parking, lots of toys to see from collections of lunch boxes, robots, pez, trains, etc to toys groups by the 60s, 70s, 80s. Fun venue for all ages.

My wife and daughter were shopping and a cashier suggested that I take a look at the toy museum. I gave it a try and I'm glad I did. I went through the museum and kept finding some of my favorite old toys. It was a really fun, nostalgic experience. Now, it is a small museum so you aren't going to spend a huge amount of time here but I really do think that most teens and up will find something they will like!

Stopped at antique mall with my mother and girlfriend on way to Stowe, I'm not big on shopping but they enjoyed it, then I heard about the toy museum, so we went upstairs, and oh my god the nostalgia hit like a ton of bricks. I absolutely loved this place, it brought back so many memories of toys I had long forgotten about, brining back a taste of joy that they did in my childhood. I highly recommend this to anyone who wants to experience that child like joy again spotting toys in each case.

I would definitely recommend coming here! There’s a suggested donation of $4 per person, which seems reasonable. When you walk in, there’s some arcade games (bring some quarters when you come here!), and a really detailed model train set up (you can put a quarter in to see them get moving). The rest is toys organized by year or type that I was excited to remember, hadn’t realized I’d forgotten about, or didn’t recognize at all. It was a lot of fun to walk through with my partner and laugh about the games and toys we used to play with. Overall, definitely worth a stop in.

This museum is in the Quechee Gorge Village shops, in the upstairs of the Cabot store. It's free to walk through, though they have a place to leave donations. They have toys through the decades, it was really fun to walk through and see how toys changed over time and to see some toys from our own childhood that we hadn't thought about in years. There is also a huge model train set up that was neat to check out as well. Worth a trip up the stairs if you are in the shopping plaza.

My husband and I were looking for something to do on one of our rare days off and we realized we'd never been to Quechee. We're from northern VT so we took the trek down, intending to go to the gorge. I looked up "things to do in Quechee" and the toy museum had amazing reviews, so we had to visit it. OH. MY. GOSH. It was SO AMAZING! The sheer amount of toys is ridiculous, and they're organized beautifully. We spent so much time in the museum (and the connected shops) that we didn't even get to see the gorge! Oh well - it's a great excuse to go back!

Very fun nostalgic museum with toys from many decades. Displayed by decade and by type (dolls, board games, lunch boxes, Star Wars, Fast Food toys, Pez dispensers, Cracker Jack and Cereal Box prizes, to name a few). Also a large train garden. I think adults would enjoy this more than young children because of the history but my teenager enjoyed seeing some of her own old favorites on display. Free to enter but they did have a sign requesting $4 donation per person. It was so fun, I was happy to make the donation.

My roommate and I were just trying to do something fun on Saturday afternoon when we stumbled this toy museum and decided to check it out. What a good decision that was! We saw a lot of our childhood toys and spent more time that we would like to admit. Definitely recommend this place.
