I have been here before years ago but stayed near the Gorge this past Wednesday. Though the area was green it appeared to have suffered a bit of a drought so not much water was going through but it was still nice. There is also...More

Gorgeous view from the bridge. The trail we walked was not clearly marked. A short visit if you aren't walking the trails.

This is a great place to stop, walk out on the bridge and take some great photos. It is a beautiful area and it is fun to take the trail down to the river.

We have visited this gorge several times when traveling in Vermont, and we were delighted to share it with some southern friends who were traveling with us. They are not used to gorges and were delighted! We will return!

Good place to stop for a view. There are trails but I didn't take them. I just wanted to see what there was to see and I THINK I did that. Walk back and forth both sides of the bridge.

Great place to spend the day. The best view is from the bridge. If you walk along the trails on either side, you can walk up to the fence for photo opportunities. The hike is an easy one. If your adventurous, go all the way...More

For decades we have stopped at this attraction and always just viewed it from the bridge, sometimes we would watch hot air balloons float over the tree line. This year the water level is very low due to a rain deficit but the views are...More

We have visited the gorge several times. It was a little drier than past visits (due to lack of rain) but still beautiful. And a nice waterfall near the dam end. Only waterfall we have seen this summer with actual water!! Trails are well maintained...More

My husband is from West Virginia so we are used to seeing the New River Gorge, which is very wide and beautiful. The Quechee Gorge is a much smaller version, but good for stopping and taking pictures. I'm sure it's beautiful in the Peak Season.

Paths were very well maintained and there were hikers of all ages enjoying the gorge. Swimming was allowed at the base of the gorge.

I would not advise you to hike to the river. It is very beautiful in the area and other things to do but you would have to stand on the bridge and just look down on the gorge.

Yes. I didn't see any indication that the trail closes. Park at the visitor's center and you can access the trail by walking behind the building. Definitely worth it!
