Oh The Places You Will Go!
My husband and I went for the first time snowmobiling and we had an awesome adventure. Max was our guide and he was great. Views were amazing and he was very informative on how to operate vehicle and also knows all about the mountain and local history. At first we thought it was expensive for us and indulgent but in the end we felt this excursion was priceless. Was able to take some impressive photos also. Highly recommend. Would probably do a two hour trip next time instead of one it was that good and did not want trip to end.

Great staff and even greater ride
Went up in late January 2024 for my bachelor weekend. Amazing and friendly crew who took the time to learn the names of me and my friends and extremely efficient in learning us the basics of snowmobiling. Definitely won’t be the last time I or my friends visit. Shoutout to River, Tito, and the storefront crew for being great.

The best snow mobile trip !!
From the time we arrived the entire staff was very accommodating for our party of 6. From my 80 year old mother to a 15 year old in our group . They made sure everyone was comfortable and had a great time . They all went above and beyond !

We had such a great time with Tito! The views were spectacular and so serene. It was our first time on snowmobiles and Tito was helpful and patient. It felt like we had a private tour since it was a very small group. Highly recommended!

    Crazy awesome time!!
My son and I took a chance on a snowmobile adventure. Our guide made us feel right at home on these massive machines and then took us on an adventure like no other. Our trip took us deep into the woods, on tight and twisting trails, across fields, up steep hills, and along a huge riverbed. Simply AWESOME! I would not hesitate to do this again!

    Best time ever!!
We had the absolute BEST time! Weekly was an amazing tour guide… so patient and encouraging. It was my husband and I’s first time. As two individuals in our 40-50s who are not in the best shape, we were a little apprehensive but so incredibly thankful we went. Thank you!!

We did the 2 hour guided tour. This was a great experience for first timers. Really well organized with a helpful safety video before going outside. Tito was an excellent guide and very attentive to the needs of our group. we would definitely do this agin.

    Awesome experience!!
My sons and I had an awesome time on our 1 hour tour. Wheatley showed us a great time, took us up and down interesting trails, and went at a good pace. The managers of the facility were great getting us prepared and ready to go out. A+ highly recommend.

We booked a 2 hour trip this past Saturday with our 13 & 11 year old and would highly recommend for any family. Our Guide Tito was awesome! Friendly and knowledgeable staff and 2020 Polaris machines were new and very comfortable. Scenery and photo ops are incredible. We can’t wait to visit again.

We had an amazing time! Everyone was very friendly and welcoming. The office staff was courteous and personable. The guide seemed like he was having fun with us, made us comfortable, and gauged our group pace perfectly. The ride through the state forest was beautiful. Although our group had never snowmobiled before and I don’t have a basis for comparison, it seemed like we hit some pretty good (but still safe) speeds and the snowmobiles themselves were new and powerful. Such fun, we will definitely go back!

My husband and I took our 9 and 12 year old grandkids on a snowmobile tour with Snowmobile Vermont and the kids AND grandparents can't say enough about this great experience! First, the ALL the staff were friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and safety conscious. All gear were extremely well sanitized, instruction was clear and thorough and the equipment was new and comfortable. The area that our guide took us on was beautiful with an overlook to the Killington Resort, through Calvin Coolidge State Park and all through the wonderful backwoods of Plymouth. We have lived in Plymouth for 30 years and have never seen some of these sections! Just wow!

We want to give a special shout out to our GREAT guide, Emily and the help and instruction of Tyler too. And the owner Spike Lynds really made us feel welcome. Thank you so much. We'd highly recommend this trip for young, old and adrenalin junkies alike!! You've got to experience this! Thank you!

While the staff was friendly The tour it self was boring. I told the front desk guy, Max, that I was experienced rider and could I " get up and go" on this ride, get some speed, have a good thrill. He said , Oh definitely, and told me about some experienced riders that didnt bring their sleds with them and had an amazing time. I was skeptical, And the price was huge for just 2 hours, plus a tip, but I went for it. So the ride itself sucked, for the first 20 min before a break I followed 3 other riders in a strait line, never going over 20mph, Matt checked on us and I said, " I need more speed" Never happened. The only thrill I got the whole trip was when I had to stop , and let the others go ahead about 100 yards or so, where I was able to get some good riding in only 10 second spurts till I quickly caught up to the group and back down to 15mph. Had I been told that I would follow a line of sleds for 2 hours, no passing, no scenery, other then woods, no water falls, no great views, no wildlife, I would have never wasted the $$ to go. I did ask for a refund, but was offered a free 1 hour trip, but I dont want the same experience, even for free.

We had an absolute blast! Our guide, Tito, was incredibly nice, funny, and knowledgeable about the area and he was very contentious in regards to our comfort and safety. Only one member of our group had been snowmobiling before, so he checked in frequently to make sure we were getting the hang of it. The best part was getting to take a few laps at full throttle across the frozen pond! What an incredible experience! The trails were beautiful and the terrain was interesting but felt very safe. We’re looking forward to our next visit!!

We took the 2 hour back country tour and had a blast! Two seniors over 64 that haven’t been on snowmobiles in 30 years and I was worried I would slow down the pack of 5 plus the 2 guides. We were lined up and I was next to last in front of my husband. In front of me was a guide then another at the head of the group. The company is very good about showing you a video and going over controls, what to do, what not to do. These sleds are new Polaris 500’s and ride nicely and can move. As we started up the trails I could see the sleds in front of me were going a bit slow, getting used to everything. To my delight the guide in front of me cut off to the right trail and motioned me to follow him. From that point on it was like I was in my 30’s again! We had a blast and it was endless trails, up, down and around. We stopped for awhile at a beautiful ridge where it was an open valley and a chance to go play safely. The beauty we saw on that trip and the fun we had with our guide was worth every penny to these old timers! Snowmobiling is easy if you use your head!
I can’t thank my guide enough, I can’t remember his name but he was tall and on the slender side with dark hair. Probably in his 20’s. We took a 3pm ride. I’m sure they are all great but he made our day!

Tito was an awesome guide! I went with my 19 year old daughter and her boyfriend and we all had a blast! I was a passenger with our guide - the double snowmobile was super comfortable and I had my own handles. The 2 teens each had their own brand new snowmobile with heated handlebars! The pre-departure safety and explanation was excellent. The whole team was professional and relaxed and we had a great time. Very Covid safe too. The trails were beautiful and the whole adventure was super fun! Highly recommended!!

My husband and I went on the two hour back country tour and our tour guide was AMAZING. He noticed right away that my husband knew how to ride already and placed us in the back of the line so that we could drive based on experience and it was a blast! The guide took us out into a field and let us go across it, it was an amazing experience. We went again in Stowe and the stowe experience was terrible... the tour guide was very inexperienced. However if you are going to Plymouth you are going to have a great time! They just seem to run their operation a lot smoother than Stowe.

Had a great time. Em was a super trail guide. Sunset was a bonus along with full moon. Grandchildren loved it and it's the highlight of the week.
Introduction and outside review of operating a snowmobile by Tyler was informational and kept us safe not being experienced snowmobile operators.
Would recommend snowmobile vermont for anyone wanting to get out and see the backcountry and do it in a safe and friendly atmosphere.

We had an awesome time. It was great. My wife and I stayed in the area and left the kids home for a few days snowshoeing. We decided to take the 2 hour adventure and so glad we did. Staff know exactly what they’re doing. Jake is great and showed us an awesome time. We got instructions how to drive the snowmobiles, geared up with helmet (must) and boots (if needed), and headed out. After another short instruction on the machine away we went. They’re very good prepping you before you go out. Safety is important.

Once out we took slow turns, then a little faster on straightaways, and in no time we’re comfortable behind the wheel. Two hours is just right. We went into the woods, open fields, up hills, down hills, all over. Dress warm like skiing (as they tell you) and no sunglasses. Wear warm layers and a shell to block the wind. Steering wheel is heated but wear warm gloves anyway. We wore baselayers like t-shirts, long sleeves, fleece sweater, and winter coat; thick warm socks, mid weight tights, and snow pants for 30 degrees and sunny, little wind. We were just right warm, couldn’t stop smiling, and it was awesome. Definitely do it again, with this outfit, and will bring the kids next time.
