Unique place to visit, shop and eat
Sep 2021
A unique place to visit for shopping and food. The cafe offers a diverse menu of option. The sandwiches we had were quite yummy! And the desserts are lip-smacking. If you want to shop for baking supplies and equipment, this is an excellent place to visit. Lots of pans, accessories, etc. to choose from. Definitely recommend for the bakers in the family.

Fun for Tree Huggers of All Ages

Only in Vermont could you find a store/restaurant/baking-class center hidden away in the middle of nowhere. Not so easy to find. Lots of fun when you do find it. We have visted several times and enjoyed the food, beverages and shopping. We haven't tried the baking classes yet, but they do seem popular. An absolutely unique experience and well worth trying.

Don't miss this awesome place!!!

A "MUST STOP" for anyone who loves to bake; and a great place to purchase gifts for the bakers in your life!!

The store has everything they sell in their catalog, and a knowledgeable staff to help answer any questions.

The cafe has excellent baked goods!!

And then there is their Baking School ... I just spent 7 glorious days attending classes here. I've been baking since I was tall enough to reach the countertops (50+ years ago), and I still learned SO MUCH! The classes are hands-on with expert instructors. I highly recommend any of their classes, whether you want a 1-day fun class on making the perfect pizza, or a 4-day deep dive into whole grain baking. Bring a notebook; I took 56 pages of notes in 7 days. I will be unpacking everything my brain tried to absorb for months to come. I'm already planning to return for another week of classes in Summer 2022.

Great food and fun experience!

We came to the cafe for lunch and were very happy with the items we ordered. We had the soup of the day which was hearty vegetable, two artichoke feta sandwiches, and a latte. The cafe was crowded with long lines, but it did not take very long to get through the line. After eating lunch we went to the store which had many items that were tempting to buy. Make sure you buy one of their baguettes if you can as the taste amazing.

Finally tried a baking class!
Aug 2021
Had been wanting to do a baking class for years and finally found the time. Elizabeth, our instructor was wonderful. We made tarts and pies and the entire process was easy to understand and informative.
Was kind of bummed that our class ended at 5 and the retail store and bakery were closed. If I had known, would have arrived to class earlier to get some shopping in. My fault for not more carefully looking at the times.
A beautiful location. It looks like they have live music/concerts as there was a stage set up. Plenty of outdoor seating. There were also trails for people to walk.
Note: you do have to wear a mask indoors

Fun to tour, fun to shop, fun to eat and walk around.

Watching the balers work is ok if they have breads etc. to make. The store is awesome, but expensive. The food is delicious and everything was very fresh. We had breakfast, the egg, cheese, and sausage was very good, The coffees were excellent, dark roast nice and strong and great tasting. The granola was very good too. The place is fun with lots of parking, and it's an employee owned company, which is nice.

Core Values = Great Experience
Jul 2021
Visiting the area from our home in Hawaii, we stopped in here for some baked goods and had a much richer experience. As my wife happily shopped, I explored; reading about their 'story', visiting display spaces, and uncovering their key to success - their PEOPLE. Their commitment and passion come forward in every way, from top quality products and gifts, to personalized interactions. Wish we lived less than an ocean apart - Mahalo111

Best Bread
Jul 2021
We had bacon breakfast sandwiches. They were the best! We also bought a baguette to have with cheese and wine later in the day. It was perfect and not very expensive.

We ate a relaxing breakfast outside on a sunny patio. I liked this breakfast setting much better than a popular diner not far away.

Of course, shopping for items for my kitchen was fun, too!

Excellent Cafe
Jul 2021
There are very few spots where you can get good quality baking supplies and baked goods and there are even fewer spots where you can get great quality baking ingredients and baked good and than there is a spot where you can get all that and a good coffee to be enjoyed under the warm and inviting summer sun.

But I digress. The reason we ended up at King Arthur was actually purely accidental. Our son was at a summer camp in nearby NH woods and after dropping him off we were looking for a place to fill up for ourselves and the car. So when we stopped to get gas we were looking for a lunch place and nothing looked any good on a Sunday except when we came across this place. For awhile we were arguing in the car over whether or not this was the same place that produces King Arthur flour that we use for baking all the time and as it turns out it was.

I was surprised to find excellent coffee to complement excellent sandwiches and cookies and croissants and well... almost everything else that is on the menu and no wonder this place was packed.
