The entrance to the Hubbard Park Tower Trail is not well labeled and rather hard to find. It is at one end of a parking lot behind some city buildings. You may need to stop at the visitors center for a map of the area....More

I found the trails to be poorly marked and confusing to get around. We would not have been able to find the Tower if somebody had not guided us right to it. The tower itself is pretty cool and was worth finding but the views...More

This park contains several miles of trails through forested hills, which makes for a perfect morning or afternoon stroll! We decided to hike to The Tower. The trails were very smooth and well-kept, and are not very difficult to hike. Once at The Tower, we...More

Walking in Hubbard Park provides a great workout, because it's on a huge hill. The paths are heavily wooded and private.

We passed through. Wanted to find a playground to stretch our legs. No playground but cool trails and a nice grassy area. We would love to come back and see more one day.

To access the observation tower, you can climb for 30 minutes behind the capitol building, or drive up and walk less than 10 minutes on a gently sloping trail. After climbing almost 70 steps, the views from the top of the tower were disappointing because...More

We hiked from the capitol building to the look out tower. Ground was covered with snow, but the trails were nicely packed. Lots of unleashed dogs, which didn't bother me a bit, but might bother some. Trails aren't marked well, but it's a pretty small...More

Definitely, if you're in moderately good shape. There are some steep areas, but if you take it slow you'll be fine. Just as an FYI, we are both in our 50's and hike approximately 2-3 times per week.
