This is a maple sugar house that sells maple syrup, maple candy, and so forth plus VT made and themed products. In my husband's opinion just go for the intense robust maple syrup creemies that are created there. Noone is better in VT and he has tried many.

Free parking is available. This is a large country store with a wide variety of food and gift items. The staff is friendly and helpful. COVID-19: Employees were masked. Customers were expected to be masked and observe social distancing protocols.

On our first trip to Vermont you of course want to check out all that you can that is local. Went to Bragg's because of all the reviews and listings on several sites. The explanation as to having me to never buy what I thought was real syrup the rest of my life. The owner tour guide really was a wealth of information, very friendly, and answered all questions. A true gem of a place. Tried a creeme before I left. Good thing I don't live close. They are delicious.

The Bragg family has been “sugarin” for 8 generations. I love the history and homey feel. Watch the video of how it’s all made. The 4 grades of syrup here are delicious too and it’s so crazy how much they get in a 4-6 week season. Lots of products here too and slightly cheaper than Morse. We enjoyed our time with the staff learning about what they do.

We were looking for something to do while in the area, and I really did want to learn more about how maple syrup is made. I do love the stuff and have bought Vermont maple syrup for years....not even knowing it was THE THING I should doing (which I learned on my tour). There are lots of maple syrup gifts to choose from as well as shirts/sweatshirts, etc. I had bought some of the maple leaf shaped maple candies and wish I had bought the big pack. In fact I had bought them for my parents but they got a big squashed traveling home, so I decided to eat them. Shhh! That is why I wish we bought more. So good! There are chairs in the sugar room off to the right of the store where you can learn about the process on an old but informative video. They also offered a tasting of the different grades of syrup which was neat.

Hubby and i stopped here after seeing a brochure for them and I’m SO glad we did!! What a beautiful place!! We were greeted by a sweet woman who told us about the history of the sugar house. Let us sample the different kinds of syrups ( light to dark) and we saw a short film. There was a lot to see in the gift shop, too!! The property is gorgeous! Very clean, well kept and the staff could not have been more helpful! We HIGHLY recommend Visiting and we WILL be back!

Headed to Barre for a few days with a co-worker and wanted to take him somewhere "touristy" before heading home. I'd been before and knew they had maple creamees so we headed in! They were delicious and we even visited with the goats out back before leaving. Really nice people, cute place, worth a stop if you're in the area.

Stopped in on our road trip in Vermont to pick up a jug of maple syrup. Super friendly staff. Lots to choose from. Everything from maple products to stuffed animals to beautiful artisan note cards. Highly recommend.

I will NEVER go here again. Poor customer service!!!! Avoid it! Mismarked jugs of which maple syrup it actually was, and was a poor surprise when opening it at home. Returned it by driving it, over a 2 hour round trip. Tried to send gifts that were sat on for weeks and not even sent before Christmas, not just didn't get by Christmas, not even sent prior to Christmas Day. They were unwilling to make it right.
