It had been a very long time since I rode a large tram. What a wonderful way to end our 12/27/2018 day skiing Jay Peak!

The Jay Peak Aerial tramway is a very impressive thing to take a ride on for skiers, hikers and walkers alike. On a clear day you can see all the way to Montreal Quebec and Mount Washington NH. This is the only tram in Vermont...More

My boyfriend and I went to Jay and HAD to go on this to get to the very top! This tramway was so neat and had a beautiful view from the top! I'm a little afraid of heights but, the view was so breathtaking that...More

An all-ages activity, well-worth the trip! Side bonus: if you like geology, you will enjoy the wonderful display at the peak (quartz-sericite-chlorite-albite schist - early Cambrian age). Be sure and look for the 2 USGS markers..

We stayed at Jay Peak off-season and we were excited to take the tram to the top of the mountain with our kids and hike down. Unfortunately, the tram was down during our only full day there, so we didn't get the full mountain experience:(

The ride to the top was interesting. Seeing the start of the foliage and not white snow. Weather was clear and you could see for miles. The snack bar was open and the ice cream treat was a pleasure. You could walk down on the...More

One of the most affordable gondola rides with some of the most gorgeous scenery around, and right in northern VT. You have to go and ride the Tramway, especially during fall foliage, but anytime will do. The scenery is stunning and the ride is exciting....More

The view was spectacular, on the ride up an down, as well as at the summit. The tram itself was a smooth ride and it was clean and airy. Tickets are priced very fairly and the rides up and down were right on schedule. The...More

It's a nice ride to the top, kids will enjoy. At the top there is several trails, and a nice rock to climb. Weather is just s little more colder. There is a deli at the top.
