About
Lincoln Peak Vineyard is temporarily closed in winter 2020. See you in the spring! Lincoln Peak makes red wines all them entirely from grapes grown in the 12-acre vineyard. Lincoln Peak's grape varieties are cold-hardy and make bright and lively wines. The Granstrom family planted 12 acres of cold-hardy grapevines in Vermont's Champlain Valley starting 10 years ago, and Lincoln Peak Vineyard has grown into one of the largest grape producers in the state. We're a family farm devoted to sustainable farming practices and the creation of new and delicious wines.

Guess why I keep going back...
Dec 2019
Great spot to taste one of the best wines made east of the Mississippi. Lots to learn and lots to savor. A fun visit any time of year. Not unusual to see locals and people from far away congregate here. Highly recommended.

Wine tasting
Oct 2019 • Friends
We were a group of 20 and the 2 servers were not overwhelmed at all. Most of us had a tasting: four pours for $5, plus you keep the glass! My favorite was the Ragtime Red. The tasting room is in a pleasant setting. A nice porch to relax and enjoy the lake. There is ample parking.

Great wine and personable pourers. They had a nice porch by a little pond with frogs and ducks. Worth the visit

Great setting

Some interesting wines. It is a smaller, more intimate spot and the servers can be a bit overwhelmed.

Best Vineyard Around!
Oct 2018 • Friends
I visited Lincoln Peak because I had enjoyed the wine in local restaurants. The young lady who led our tasting was extremely knowledgeable. She directed us to wine she thought we would enjoy based on our tasting. After we finished our tasting we got a meat and cheese plate and ate it outside at a picnic table overlooking the vineyards. I will definately return!!

Great small family, owned vineyard with award winning wine!
Dec 2018 • Friends
Lincoln Peak is a small, 12 acre family owned winery in New Haven, Vermont. They're located on the Middlebury Tasting Trail and off of Route 7. Their wines are great, cold climate varietals that have won many awards over the years. You will be greeted with a small and incredibly friendly service. Their deck is open in the summer with concerts on their back lawn. And the wood stove is warm and cozy in the winter. I would highly recommend stopping by for a glass or a tasting of the Marquette (for the red wine enthusiasts) or their Black Sparrow (for the white wine lovers).

Pleasant stop
Sep 2018 • Couples
We were in the area and picked up a Vermont road and attractions map as we entered the state. We love wineries and found this one on the map nearby our breakfast stop.
We drive a short motorhome and we always have to consider parking. We had no problem as they have a larger back parking lot we got in nicely.
We spent an enjoyable hour or so enjoying the property and doing their very reasonably price wine tasting. We got to choose 5 of their wine offerings to taste plus got the glass. We loved most of what we tried and happily purchased some to take home. While there, we also found they are on a tasting trail which includes Woodchuck Cider just a mile down the road.
Very nice, enjoyable find, and very pleasant folks, indeed.

Really Enjoy this family business
Sep 2018 • Couples
Years ago I had a work assignment that took me by this vineyard so I stopped and am glad I did. This family run vineyard has a great selection of wines. They won numerous award in the past decade and I can see why, or should I say, taste why! I was able to spend a weekend in Middlebury during this assignment with my wife and we went to a Friday night gig with a band and just had a ball. On a whim, we decided to go this past Sunday to a tradition of picking the grapes. We picked the grapes that make their Marquette wine which is my favorite. Stop in and you won't regret it.

Always a stop when I come here
Apr 2018 • Couples
I've been here a few times; I've even gone out of my way to come here! They're a small estate winery with their own vineyards. I think the tastings are $7 or $8, BUT if you bring your glass back the next time, your tasting is free! The staff is awesome and very helpful. They also have wines "on tap" to get by the glass, or fill up your growler! (Yes, I did say WINE GROWLER!) I have one at home and always make a trip when I'm in the area to get my growler filled. Their growlers are the same price as a bottle of wine, too! I love this place and will always come back.

Well worth a visit
Jun 2018 • Friends
Have been going to Lincoln Peak for over 6 years now on an annual jaunt with a friend. They are always knowledgeable, friendly, and most importantly, the wines are delicious. Do yourself a favor and buy a glass of Cur to enjoy on the porch. It is a mix of their Black Sparrow and their Casis black currant wine. You won't regret it. All in all, always worth a trip.
