The Northshire Bookstore is a must-see for any booklover. The selection is vast and accompanied by numerous lovely gift items and food selections. There is also an entire 3rd floor for children with games and books. The Cafe off the back of the store had both homemade ice tea and wonderful treats. We went back again!

This, by far, is the best bookstore anywhere! My family and I have been coming to the Northshire Bookstore for many, many years whenever we are in the Manchester, VT area. You can stay for hours. There are so many rooms with not only books but other interesting things that relate to the category in that section. One entire floor... More

If I could get lost in this book store and stay there forever I'd be happy. It has so many rooms filled with interesting books and items for sale. It feels like a place you want to visit. It has an amazing café and eatery. Private book stores are making a comeback, but The Northshire never needed to. It's amazing,... More

This store has been in Manchester as long as I can remember. It is large but feels small when shopping. They sponsor lectures and still have book signings. It is what a book store should be, informative, fun and part of the community. Also, it even has an attached snack/lunch area where you can sit and have a quick fresh,... More

If you are near Manchester, VT, do not miss this bookstore. Our hotel suggested that we visit the Northshire Bookstore and I'm glad we did. As privately owned bookstores are shutting down, it is a treat to find such a large, well-stocked bookstore with knowledgeable staff and a nice cafe. The children's floor is pretty amazing. There's plenty of parking,... More

This book store is exceptionally unique and they offer thousands of books and gifts. The staff is very willing to help and the store even orders books you may be searching for. They have books from almost every author readily available , they even have a self publishing book printer on site. They offer books, CDs, movies, clothing, posters, journals.... More

I just love privately owned bookstores and this one didn't disappoint! Many cute cubby areas and great book choices. I particularly liked the children's section and was able to find signed copies.

I have absolutely nothing bad to say about this bookstore. It was my first time visiting, and I LOVED it! I spent a solid two hours looking at all of the different books. If you are a book lover, you will fall in love with Northshire Bookstore.
