Busy, family mountain. Great trails. Expensive meals. I’d like to see this place get with the program in terms of environmental sensitivity. Leaving towels on the rack because you want to use them again (cleaning people replaced anyway) and having bars of soap with a...More
I feel bad writing this because I grew up loving the mountain. This year is totally different and from ONE visit. It took the lady purchasing my ticket about an hour to give me my ticket. She had no idea how to work the thing....More
We had two days of wonderful skiing here. The slopes were in great shape both days and the bubble chairs helped greatly in keeping warm going up,the lift. Our only complaint with this area is the cost of food. I bought a cheeseburger (no fries)...More
Been skiing here for more than 30 years. Has been a family favorite until now. They will not honor gift cards! You cannot use them online and in person the gift cards are either not accepted or they cannot verify amount. Simply do not buy...More
The mountain is beautiful which is why I give at least 2 stars. However, we spent over an hour in the rental line, after we paid for a full day ticket. The guys at the rental place said it would be no problem to go...More
I read some reviews before going but figured it can't be that bad. It was. I've waited a day to write this and the only reason I'm giving it 2 stars because the terrain was decent on the first day and there was 1 helpful...More
We took our 6 year old to Okeemo Snow Stars ski school this past weekend. He was there for 3 days and it was an incredibly disappointing total waste of time and I can’t urge you strongly enough to not subject your children to. On...More
Okemo posted on 1/20/19 6:50am that 19/20 lifts open and 100% of mountain open. This was a total lie. Based on this report I bought a $127 ticket online. When I got to the mountain, No lifts were running to the top of the mountain....More

I think that depends on weather and how you’re feeling after the drive. There are trade offs. Afternoon skiing can be warmer but the snow is better in the morning, etc. t would personally ski on Wednesday. There are two lodges - Clock Tower is the main one. There’s usually insufficient parking so you end up parking down the road and taking a shuttle bus. Jackson Gore has close in parking but is a smaller base area with fewer trails. If you’ve never been there Jackson Gore can be hard to find so map it carefully and even then you can miss the sign. You do not go up the mountain road to go Jackson Gore. Both have rentals so if you’re renting make sure you rent from the right one. If you don’t ski on Weds at least get your lift tickets - the lines in the morning can be longer. Both lodge areas have storage. Jackson Gore is more charming and also has the sledding and mountain coaster and ice skating rink if you’re interested in those. Clock tower has more of every thing and more trail access. Hope that helps.
