No Cowboy Boots here !

Ken and Alan helped me get fitted for my ski gear. Process was very professionally done and did not have any problems with the gear on the slopes.

My boyfriend and I came here today in search of ski rentals for the day. He is considered a type one skier I'm on the border of type 2/3 (been out a couple years with an injury) and we just wanted something basic to get us back in the swing of things. We noticed Roots was the least expensive with... More

Dear Emily B, Thank you for your feedback. We take great pride in our customer service. However, your claims are a mystery to me. First, our store policy is NEVER to rent ski boots only. Second, that is because we don't adjust any brackets i.e. ski binding that are not ours. Our policy is to send those types of requests... More

Stopped by to buy a pair of snowboarding gloves. The manager gave me a discount on what it is supposed to be a descent pair of gloves but one glove broke when I adjusted it at the mountain. I wore them all day and stopped by the shop on the way back to see if they could exchange the gloves.... More

The equipment we rented was brand new! A bit of concern when someone accidentally borrowed my husband's rental skis (Killington rents the exact same skis) and there was the possibility we'd be buying the new skis. Luckily, the skis were turned in the next day and they called to let us know right away so we could stop worrying. In... More

Roots is well known for having great deals for beginning and intermediate skiers. Often overlooked is the fact that they also have the best rental equipment available for advanced and wanna-be expert skiers. The courteous and knowledgeable service while they prepare your equipment is unmatched. I leave the shop confident that the equipment will perform and help keep me safe.
