This is the luxury way to ride to the top especially when its 2 degrees outside! Fast and comfortable too. Just be aware that if its too windy and or icy that they will shut it down as well as any other "detachable" type lift. The only way to go to the top!

Yes, It's a bit pricey. $30 per person for 1 round trip. But you get your own gondola for the ten minute ride and on a clear day the view is pretty sweet. I know the giant hogweed is a dangerous plant, but it sure makes a nice wildflower meadow for photos. The gondola takes you to the Peak Lodge which is by far the best top of the mountain place to eat or drink that we've ever seen, and we've seen a bunch. Lovely views and easy hiking trails. Take the ride!

Managed to be in Killington for the last day of the K1 summer opening. Got a deal on tickets booking direct through the Grand Resort hotel. Brilliant ride to the top of the mountain for spectacular views over the mountains. Topped of with some early snow. Followed a wooden walkway for a small hike.

They know how to ruin your fun vacation, very poor maintenance procedures for the machines.
The whole gondola ride got stopped because 3 gondola cars stuck within each other, see pictures.
The breakdown happened twice within 30 minutes.
@Management, why you did not stopped the ride and fixed the issues, get it the ride inspected before putting passengers on it again? You guys were still selling additional tickets when the ride was already broken for the day
With these maintenance levels, I doubt there is any safety protocols. Is anyone inspecting and auditing them? #noncompliance #killingtonresorts #killingtonadventurecenter

the leaves were changing color and we decided to try the K1 express gondola to get a view from the top of the mountain. Going up was neat since you pass right over the trees; on top the views and colors were beautiful and you can see for miles.

Very nice ride to the top of the mountain. While you are up[ there check out the lodge. The views are the beat. It takes some effort to get to this area from Bear mountain. If you are there plan on taking a few hours to go there and get back.

We rode the gondola up and then continued on the short hike to the peak of Killington Mountain. It was a clear day and the views were spectacular. It was not a difficult hike at all. Worth it for sure!

When you come down most of the runs leading to K-1, you encounter a flat stretch and unless you have lots of speed (which is dangerous in that crowded space), you have to pole or walk quite a bit to get there. The gondola isn’t well situated.

The K1 has been adding new gondolas which are warmer and smoother riding. All the lifts have RFI entry points which you will get accustomed to. The snowboarders seemed to be having trouble putting their boards on the outside racks and were told to take them into the gondolas as a heads up. Something to do with the racks not being sized correctly.

we did a bundle and paid less than the regular which I believe was $12 one way. The prices are listed on their website.
Is there a restaurant at the top to have lunch and sit for a while we have an elderly person traveling with us that would like to go if they can stay while we hike and then grab
a bite to eat.

There is a ramp and a beautiful view. It can be cooler up there so add layers. Plan to go early, hike, then have lunch.
