A wonderful experience and great people. I've done this about six times. The scenery is beautiful and you experience it at the rate you want. With ebikes you can have a group of people at varying levels of ability and still stick together. If part of the reason you are here in VT is for beer, then this experience is perfect -- you can take off from Johnson, go to the (current) end of the trail past Morrisville, turn around then on the way back stop at Lost Nation, which has a wide and excellent selection of beer and full menu. Most important, the owners and employees have been consistently kind. At one point the guy waited around an additional two hours past closing time because one member of our group had a problem. They are expanding the trail soon and these folks may offer a multi-day experience. Can't wait!

Great way to spend a fall Saturday in Vermont. The trail is picturesque with plenty of photo ops. Bikes are in great condition. We’re in our 60’s and we’re able to make the ride with the pedal assist. Pedaling is required but the bike definitely helps you. Lots of possibilities for stops to eat or shop or just ride and enjoy. Highly recommended for all seasons and ages.

My family has been coming here for the better part of a decade and we absolutely love it. The bikes are great and allow the strongest biker in our family to get a good workout, while the rest of us can get a much needed boost. The staff are friendly, patient, and extremely helpful. The trail is serene and beautiful. Excited to rent again!

Very easy to book a half day tour online. Form has a great feature that shows available inventory at the time you want to book. The owner did a great job explaining how to use the E-bike. Great activity especially for those getting back into shape or who are biking with someone who has a higher fitness level.

Out of all the exciting things we did during our week in Stowe, Vermont, this proved to be one of the most fun. It’s great because it’s relaxing yet you get some good exercise. The scenery is beautiful and there are some fun little things to check out along the path. We did a six-hour rental which was nice since it allows you to go at your own pace and be spontaneous if you want.

Jim was great and was very patient and friendly with our family He took the time to explain everything we needed to know to operate the bikes safely and to have fun. The trail is very beautiful and easy to use and the leaves were still colorful. Next year we will be back to experience the other end of the trail. Highly recommend this business.

Great experience, family with teens staying in Stowe. The electric boost made pedaling a breeze, the trail is amazing. Book in advance on the website, and plan on at least two hours out on the trail. Two of our bikes had saddle bags large enough to carry sweater, lunch and a large water bottle. The owner is very nice and knowledgeable about the trail. We brought lunch but there are places to stop as well along the trail.

My husband and I spent a half day riding e-bikes on the Lavoisier River Trail. The bikes were in great condition; Jim adjusted everything to fit us; and gave us a tutorial on the use of the bike and the trail. It was a glorious autumn day, and we thoroughly enjoyed the experience.
