This was a very cute little brewery that was accessible from a pretty long dirt road. The staff was pleasant and very informative. The beer was good. Tables available in their tasting room as well as food.

The first thing to know about Hill Farmstead is it is a bit remote, I can't help singing banjo music while driving on the rutty, unpaved road up there. It's true-- DO NOT FOLLOW YOUR GPS, you'll end up on a logging road. The beer...More

My wife and I came here to help celebrate my 50th birthday. It truly is on the top of a hill up a dirt(mud) road in the Northeast Kingdom area of Vermont. You have to be persistent and trust your GPS to get you there....More

Very fun brewery to drive to but it is a drive. The last half mile is a dirt road (and had ruts along with ice which made it a little scary). The beer is quite good.

Hill Farmstead Brewery is one of the top ranked craft breweries in the country. Its reputation brings people from around the country to middle of nowhere Vermont. The lines on the weekend are outrages. I recommend getting there early on Thursday. They recently completed their...More

Pleasant hilltop brewery and visitor center on a dirt road in rural Vermont. Award-winning beer and a staff that really knows the craft. Tell them what you like and they make excellent suggestions from their own line. They experiment a bit and use their new...More
