We really love this area and campsite/lean-to we had was "Larch" which is so wonderful! The lake and the surroundings are so pristine, but I believe we should have been warned along with other campers of the torrential rain & winds that were on there...More

Very nice beach with a lot of woods. One of my favorite beaches in Vermont. On the small size so you will not find a lot of crowds.

I like that they have food and you don't have to bring a ton of stuff. Sandy beach and water edge and rope swing on the other side of the lake - great for kayaking, swimming, camping, or day trip. We will be back

Yes - you will have to park at the gate before the parking lot and walk 1/4 mile or so to get to the trails - we did it yesterday!
