Twin Pines Recreational Tree Climbing is fun for all ages! Brenda and Al run Twin Pines Recreational Tree Climbing, located near Danville, Vermont, which is set amongst 35 acres of stunning forests and has a view to die for, especially during the fall. You can learn how to climb trees, how to use the Double Rope Technique to ascend and descend whilst being able to let go of your hands or feet at any time and still safely maintain your location. Al is a certified New England Tree Climbing Instructor with years of experience, a great teaching style and fantastic sense of humour. Different classes cater for various interest levels, ranging from Fun Climbs to Courses where you learn everything needed to set up and climb on your own. While you are there, all equipment is provided. We were lucky enough to be able to stay in the Treehouse that is located on the grounds of Twin Pines. The Treehouse has a lovely sitting room with comfortable sofa and dining area as well as a great wood-burner, a staircase leading to the upper level with a double bed and large window for some moose spotting. Outside, there is a veranda with cooking facilities and seating and - best of all - a firemen's pole to slide down if you don't want to use the stairs! Sitting round the firepit, enjoying Brenda's and Al's outstanding hospitality in the evening, made this one of those truly memorable stays.
