First off, I love to garden with wildflowers so I'm probably a little biased... Keep that in mind. It's a nice store, it's not big or small, it big for what it sells but small for a store in general. It has the largest selection of species that I have ever seen, if you garden with wildflowers you simply must... More

A field of wildflowers. Depending on when you visit, different flowers are in bloom. Saw a field of poppies which made a colorful statement. Signs describing different flowers to look for are along the trail in the fields. There is also a wooded trail, that goes behind the open fields. Nice gift shop. Worth the visit if you have time.

This is just a store. The attraction is their little nature walk through the wildflower field. That part was nice, but bring bug spray if you continue through the woodsy part of the walk. We were eaten alive by mosquitoes in just five minutes. The store had some unique and interesting items like huckleberry jam. Plus lots and lots of... More

I have been ordering seeds from this establishment for years, and finally had an opportunity to visit their store. I had no idea that they had a garden path, so that was an extra treat. There is a field of wildflowers with informational signs, then the path winds by a pond, and through wetlands and woods. A nice little respite.... More

Stopped here with my wife and my cousin and his wife to view the Wildflowers. We walked through a field and through a forest and pond to view and identify Wildflowers. After the walk we visited the gift shop to buy seeds for our own wildflower gardens. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

We were in the area so decided to stop by. It was a very hot day and the wildflowers were quite wilted. The gift shop is nice, and we received a free wildflower seed packet with our purchase. There is no water fountain or real bathroom. The porta potty in the parking lot was quite unpleasant. We were out of... More

If you are in the area during mid-late summer, this is a nice spot to visit. It's not far from all the other Charlotte attractions, so this is a good place to start your day. They have wild flowers planted out back of the building and a trail that takes you through the woods, but I wouldn't go out there... More

Interesting store with lots of different wildflower seeds, plus a nice walk through a wildflower garden and into the woods. Worth a stop if you like to garden or want to learn about wildflowers, but not a 'must-see' stop in general.

A wonderful selection of seeds and planting supplies. Some nice odd ball items for the garden as well.

This might be great in the spring, but walking the trail in the summer was no big deal. I can see Black-eyed Susans & Queen Ann's lace in my backyard. It's right on the highway by the Teddy Bear Company & Shelburne Farms, so if you need to stretch your legs, do a quick check. You can see everything from... More
