We enjoyed the Cabot Cheese Tour very much. I was impressed with the explanation of how the local farmers sell their milk to Cabot and share in the profits. Cabot is very careful to only use milk which contains no drugs or additives. The factory is impeccably clean. A wonderful selection of cheeses are available for sale in the gift... More

Unlimited sampling of spreads, cheeses and dips. How can it get any better? Three dollars gets you a in depth 30 minute video and tour of the facility. The tour covers the companies history, the coop of farmers behind it, and the opportunity to view the cheese making process in person. The store sells everything from cheese and yogurt to... More

The tour of the facility was pretty fascinating, and there were over a dozen different and delicious types of cheese to taste at the end.

We enjoyed this tour very much and learned a lot about cheese. Samples are available in the tasting room but unfortunately it was overcrowded, with people staking a spot around the samples and not moving. Although we never got to taste, we did buy some cheese to take with us, and it was delicious.

We’re delighted you took time to come visit our factory. Now you know where some of the “World’s Best Cheddar” is made. Fall is a busy time and we are sorry you didn’t get to enjoy our cheeses, but certainly hope you will visit us again! Thank you from the farm family owners of Cabot. More

Was a good informative tour about Cabot. Love the sampling room. Ended up leaving with an empty wallet and a full car of fresh cheese.

I stopped here while driving and admiring the amazing fall colors the nearby hills have to offer. The cheese is very goo, the building historic, but the facility is small and a bit dated. The factory tour ($3.00) is a must, as is consists of a video, and a walk down the back hallway of the plant. Quick view of... More

My husband & I decided to make our own food tour. We've had the opportunity to have Cabot cheeses in the past. We really love them. However, we are from a small town in Illinois & cannot buy Cabot cheese. We enjoyed the tour & experiencing many cheese flavors. We of course stocked up on cheese. I took some of... More

The most friendly employees! Exceptionally well informed and can answer any questions. It stand out in the quaint little town of Cabot and is a great thing to do. LOTS of cheese samples. You can also purchase seldom found cheeses that are not in your local stores. Don't miss this!!!

If you want to learn how cheese is made, this is the place. The cost of the tour was reasonable, free samples, and a nice little gift shop.

New cheeses...old cheeses...history...local flare. I loved that the tour featured a walk through the plant and an intimate look into the business of cheese. This cheese maker also spoke highly of other cheese makers which makes for a nice, friendly business relationship. I walked away being a fan of Cabot Cheese...and I'm originally from Wisconsin and my brother is an... More
