Cabot makes the world’s best cheddar and this store let’s you sample all the varieties! Plus sample other products and buy a variety of cheeses, craft beer, wine and other Vermont products. I make sure to stop here every time I pass through Vermont

Fresh and delicious cheeses. Maple shaped Maple syrup hard candies are delicious. Definitely worth the trip but disappointing that the tour is no longer offered.

We drove here thinking we would take the creamery tour but upon arrival were told it was no longer available due to new state laws. Other than a small sampling table and gift store there’s not much to justify the tripMore

Thank you for your feedback. We worked very hard to get the message out about tours being stopped at the end of 2017 by putting it on our site, on Google, Yelp, and TripAdvisor. We are grateful you visited and enjoy all the Visitors Center...More

Stopped by the Cabot Factory in October 2018. We were amazed of all the cheese samples offered. It was also quite interesting to see all the variety of cheese flavors that we do not have available in our home state. No tours are offered, however...More

We are west coast people but we know about Cabot cheese. Since we were going to be in the area we decided to point our GPS that way. Cabot, VT is a very small. The cheese plant is a good portion of the town. But...More

Stopped here to see their excellent 10-minute film on cheese making. I really admire who and what Cabot is---a farmer-owned co-op interested in environmental management and social stewardship. The icing on the cake is all the wonderful cheeses you can sample at the creamery. They're...More

While this is the factory, the visitor center is small and there is no tour. Cabot has various stores in New England and a larger store (though crowded and hordes of people lurking around the samples) in Waterbury. This store is not worth a drive...More

We drove a bit extra to get here because we were expecting more. For the flagship store and namesake, the store is very tiny. Yes, great samples. But so much less impressive than their Stowe or Portland, ME locations. Great cheese — just don’t expect...More

We truly appreciate consumer feedback; thank you for taking the time to write. Yes, our space is small, but snuggled into the original creamery and located in the town of Cabot where it all began in 1919! Thanks for visiting our other locations, hope you'll...More

Small tasting room, You don't tour the plant. You see a movie about the place. I would skip the place if you are decided. Not a place for wheelchair or handicapp They need a better room for viewing the movie and larger sampling room.
