The Fleming is the place to go if you are in need of an art fix. With a diverse permanent collection and frequently changing exhibits, there is art for everyone.

Would love to review this fine museum but it is closed when school is not in Summer session. We read the reviews on line, reviewed hours of operation, nothing about closed in Summer. Hope to visit another time.

Liked seeing Vermont artist Weyde painting of Mount Mansfield. Special exhibit of pop artists enjoyable. Neo-colonial building is interesting. For parking, park in adjacent visitor lot. You will need to go inside museum for pass. Go to restaurant nearby in hospital - great value.

My wife and I visited The Fleming Museum today, lured by the "Pop Art" special exhibition! We enjoyed this exhibit as well as the Samuel Bak exhibit. The museum is located in the center of the beautiful UVM campus ! The Marble Room in the center of this museum is incredible ! The permanent collection of Vermont artist and scenes... More

We had a rainy day in Burlington so looked for a nice museum visit. Saw this on Trip Advisor so decided to give it a try. The museum is small with 2 floors and maybe 8 or so big rooms for display. There was a special display on the main floor plus a nice display of Senator Leahy's photography upstairs.... More

Enjoyed our recent visit to the Fleming Museum, located on the UVM campus. Varied exhibits of interest within the small, but beautiful, museum. A great idea for a rainy day in Burlington!

We stopped there o our way out of Burlington and we both really enjoyed the diversity of the collections and exhibitions, from a Norman Rockwell painting to ancient Egyptian artefacts. Worth the stop

On the campus of University of Vermont, this little gem is a great rainy-day venue for visitors and locals alike. Highly recommended in an "outdoors" City where they are few indoor attractions, especially of the calibre found here.

Went there by myself, ready for a nice afternoon. It was during thanksgiving week-end, the canadian one anyways, and it was also during the U of Vermont friends and family weekend. Wow first moment of silence and calm available of my time in town. Great paintings, but what made me happy was the Penelope sculpture which is beyond comparison, as... More

The Fleming has 10-12 distinct display areas, each focused on a different theme or geography. In each area, there is a small but very fine collection, well-annotated. So, unlike the situation in many museums, here you don't get exhausted or overwhelmed. The spaces are all attractive and the exhibits are interesting. We spent a very pleasant 90 minutes here (and...
