These ferries are amazing and safe. The captain's run them with precision, always on time. Even when the lake is rolling with big waves the ferries are running. I've lived in VT for 46 years and have ridden the ferries for many many years.

We managed to get onto a tour after walking around Burlington and fancying a sit-down. The tour guide was very informative throughout, learnt a lot about the lake and surrounding area. Good food and drink options aboard. The weather wasn't great outside but this didn't...More

The ferry ride was a little bit long going both ways but it was a very relaxing and beautiful afternoon! We sat outside the ferry before we boarded and had a couple drinks on the water.

A cold but clear early autumn day - perfect for a trip across Lake Champlain. The boat accommodation is quite comfortable but we preferred to stay on the open deck watching the scenery. Stunning views!.

The ferries provide an important service. I have crossed on the Plattsburg- Grand Isle ferry many times, which saves miles of driving (down to the Crown Point bridge) and is convenient and easy on, easy off. It leaves every 13 or so minutes in the...More

The people attending the ferries are friendly and knowledgable of surrounding areas. It was a short trip to upstate NY and loved every second!

Be wary of the ferry schedule ... it changes at certain times of day. Overall good - no issues. Reasonable fees.

Extra weight means extra fuel. The ferry is quite reasonably priced considering the alternative.
