A must-do in Burlington for craft beer lovers!

My husband and I did the Classic Brew Tour through Burlington yesterday, and we could not be more impressed with the City Brew Tours experience - the caliber of the tour itself, the breweries we visited, and our tour guide all exceeded our expectations. The cost was more than reasonable for the beer and food that were included. The booking process was simple and smooth; the tour ran efficiently without us feeling rushed. Our guide, Kianna, was warm, funny, knowledgeable, and made the experience memorable. Her narration of the history of beer in between stops was humorous and educational! Lastly, each of the breweries we visited were welcoming and friendly, and the brews and food we sampled were top-notch. I would not hesitate to recommend City Brew Tours to anyone looking to enjoy local craft brews in a fun, unique way without worrying about driving.

Burlington Classic Brew Tour - Terrific. Guide Kianna is great!

The City Brew Tour - Burlington Classic Brew tour was a great length of time and a fine amount of tastings. The lunch (pizza with two full size beers) was delicious. Our guide, Kianna, was full of energy and very knowledgeable about the the breweries and even provided the full history of beer on our voyage to the breweries. Do ensure that you are at the pickup point 15 minutes before the start time. Our tour was full and participants were respectful with intake and with wearing masks in the vehicle. The vehicle was in fine shape. The breweries were very welcoming, fun-filled and clean.

Thank your positive and informative review! Our tours are crafted to be a good time, but it is always nice to hear the good times began upon pick up in the vehicle. We would love to see you on another one of our tours sometime... Keep an eye out for the reopening of our Stowe tour in the future!

Classic Brew Tour

We did the Classic Brew Tour with Riley. She was INCREDIBLE! We had so much fun. They definitely provide a nice array of tastings. The food was delicious! We were so happy with the experience and highly recommend it to anyone. Riley is really what made the whole experience so great. She was knowledgable on the beer process, each brewery's unique history, provided fun facts, and truly was just a joy to be around!

Relaxing Enjoyable Fun🍺 #citybrewtoursvt

We just enjoyed a weekend in Burlington
VT and included the City Brew Tour to
our weekend. It was great. We had the
best Beer Guide EVER! His name is Frank.
He made the day very enjoyable! We
also had a chance to meet some
fabulous new friends. Would definitely
recommend this tour to any beer lover!

Cool Brew Tour

My husband and I did the classic brew tour and had the best time. We had a great selection at each stop and our beer guide Kianna was knowledgeable and fun. She answered every question we threw at her and made sure we had great pizza too! A really enjoyed the fiddlehead and I mixed a raspberry beer with and stout (Kianna’s suggested) and it was a hit! We highly recommend, 4 hours and fun 🤩.

Burlington Beer Tour

We booked a brew tour for a recent bachelor party. Kianna was our tour guide for the Burlington City Brew Tour. She was funny, informative, and accommodating. Add fantastic beers and a killer pizza stop to the mix and you’ve got a 10 out of 10 day. Couldn’t be happier with our experience.

Tasty brew tour

Kianna was a fantastic tour guide. Took us to some great breweries and had a lot of knowledge about each. The beer on the tour was delicious as was the pizza at The Barnyard. Fantastic idea to get food at 2nd stop!

Excuse me, who needs a wine tour when you have a beer tour?!

So a few friends of mine from NYC and LA came to visit me for a few days. I really didn't know what to do or what to show them. Some of them have already been to Burlington and seriously how many times can you walk up and down Church street. We all kinda wanted to do something different where you cant find anywhere else. We did a wine tour in Napa last summer which was a lot of fun,excellent wine, great memories and pics we took,so we wanted a similar activity. Did my research, beer tour showed up, and excuse me forget wine tours and Napa. This was probably the best thing we did all weekend. Our tour guy was Matt, he was super nice, pleasant and patient guy. He knew a lot about beer and it was an excellent tour he gave us. We visited about 4 breweries, two were in the area and the other 2 was a drive, but luckily we had Matt our DD in our cute little mini-van. The tour also included a look into how they make beer which was really cool. Our concern before hand was how many samples will we be getting and do we need to have some beers before we go ( which we did, but only 1 round).Yes our intention was to get a little toasty, it was va-ca mode. Not to worry you get tons of samples, by the third spot, I couldn't even finish some of the samples because I really did not want to be carried out on a stretcher. The last place we went to was American Flat bread, not only did we get more samples of beers but had pies of pizza from Flat bread which was juicy and delicious. At the end Matt dropped us off to my house, which was great. Its very convenient since he picks and drops us off at the same location, you just don't have the stress of wondering how you are going to get home.
Overall I loved it, my friends are obsessed with it, they are all still talking about it. I definitely recommended it, if you from out of town, or have friends from out of town, or your sugar momma is visiting u for the weekend and you don't know what to do. You learn a lot and get to try local Vermont beer which is delicious. Also customer service is fantastic, we had a dilemma and contacted Chad I believe he is the owner/manager, he was very nice and very helpful to us. I know 60 bucks might sound a bit much to some people but honestly its a bargain and totally worth the money. Cant wait for my next group of visitors to come down so we can do this again:)

Denied refund during pandemic

Due to the pandemic affecting everyone I was not able to celebrate the anniversary weekend planned with my girlfriend in Burlington, VT. We have been able to get refunds from all the establishments that were paid in full or paid deposits except from one business, the Burlington Brewery Tour. This company when contacted stated they were not giving refunds and that only rescheduling was available. Who knows when travel restrictions will be lifted or if The forced rescheduling will be able to occur. I understand that when I booked the tour it stated no refund, but this is not a cancellation of mine. It’s completely out of my control. $180 may not seem like a lot of money to some, but it is to many others. In the light of what is happening globally I commend businesses that are able and willing to give back a persons hard earned money. To businesses that keep money for services like the Burlington Brewery Tour, shame on them.

Great Tour, Great Guide

My boyfriend and I had the BEST time on this tour. It was only us and one other couple on the tour, which made it so much more fun! Hannah was our guide and she was incredibly knowledgeable and friendly, the five of us got along so great! Plus, the beer was amazing. I love that a van brought us around so we didn't have to worry about driving as you get TONS of samples. I'd love to do it again in the other cities available, but Vermont was really special!
