I've been looking for a nice place to swim in Burlington for a while now, and I've finally found it. The water is clear and beautiful, and it's great for swimming, floating, cliff jumping, paddle boarding, and kayaking. Although there is not a very big sandy area, the rocks are large and flat enough that it is very comfortable to... More

There's a good amount to do at oakledge. I've been coming to this park my entire life. There's tennis for tennis players, bocce for bocce fans, grills for cookouts, places for groups to reserve and have an event. There is lots of space and woods trails to walk through. There is a treehouse for fun or for hobos to sleep... More

Oakledge is my favorite place to go for a swim, watch the sunset, have a picnic, or read my book in the summer.

From beautiful, ice-covered rocks in the winter to the large tennis court used in the summertime, Oakledge has it all. If you're looking to hose a picnic, BBQ, tennis match, outdoor party, or just go swimming, definitely check Oakledge out.

Great sunsets, there are two sandy beaches and a large grassy area that over looks the lake as well as pavilions and a little playground. you can bike or walk in for free otherwise there is a small charge to park in the parking lots. great beach to bring... Oakledge has it all, swimming, paddleboarding, tennis, bocce, barbequeing, all with the backdrop of Lake Champlain and the majestic Adirondack mountains. There's a daily usage fee for locals and visitors, though some park on the road on the road leading into the park for free and walk in. There is also an accessible tree house and a children's play area.... More

The person who waited on us in the bread shop recommended this place for a picnic. Could imagine it being fantastic in the summer, with beachfront views and even a treehouse!

I haven't been for awhile, but this lovely park on the lake is hard to beat for sunbathing, a picnic or watching the sun set over the Adirondacks.

This park is HUGE! This is a very fun place to hang out during the summer and early fall. There are beaches, woods, and open green space all connected by well paved paths. The is a treehouse that has nice views of the forest. Very fun!

I've spent so many happy days at Oakledge. It's where I taught my dog how to play frisbee, where I would take a dip on a hot day, jump off a cliff when feeling adventurous, and played softball and kickball many times. It's also a cool spot for snowshoeing and if it's cold enough you can skate right off the... More
