This is a textbook example of how much and old downtown can become a better well organized pedestrian shopping and dining community space. This is the best downtown in New England.

This street is a pedestrian walkway with shops and restaurants that gives you a real feel of the town of Burlington. The trees are decorated with white lights and the street looks pretty both day and night.

Our hotel was just a street away and it was a nice stroll from our hotel to the entrance of the walking mall. There are lots of cool shops and good restaurants nearby. This is a nice central part of the town.

I would try Queen City Brewery, Zero Gravity and Switchback. Two on Pine Street and the other on Flynn Ave. My husband takes our dog for a walk and a pint in good weather.
