This was a bare bones operation but we enjoyed our one hour canoe rental. Cash only. Life jackets included. Parking across the street. Water was very shallow to the right and it would have been nice to be warned of that before we took off.

My gf and I had a wonderful experience here. The set-up is pretty charming and the location is in a great spot along both the West river and Connecticut river. Great for bird watching (herons!) and some fun spots along the West river for swimming.

For folks who like to canoe it is becoming harder all the time to find places that have canoe rentals. This place also rent kayaks. We checked out both and they were of good quality and in good condition. I stopped one day to ask...More

The experience was exactly what we expected. We showed up, parked, quickly rented a canoe and got on the water. Two hours later we were back and we had a very good time! Definitely worth our time.
