Charming museum in an old train station. Spent an enjoyable hour here on a rainy day in Brattleboro. Public parking available on the other side of the train tracks, and conveniently located near Whetstone Station restaurant for a meal/drink before or after! The nice thing...More

The current Springs, Sprockets and Pulleys was a lot of fun. The exhibits are interactive, with buttons to push and bikes to ride. These are very imaginative sculptures created out of found objects . There are also other exhibits that make this a great place...More

Interesting small museum, three of the four exhibits were very interesting. Set in a former train station, the building itself is worth seeing, all with a view of the Connecticut River. Great spot for an hour or so, for $6.00 you won't be disappointed

This attraction is ideal for all lovers of modern art, historic buildings, and century old train stations. Children will like much of the exhibits. Be here at the right time, and watch from above the sight and sound of an Amtrak. My wife and I...More

Though small by many museum standards, they don't have their own collection, the exhibits are thankfully one of a kind. I have never seen the art they show anywhere else. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The entry fee is modest with lots of...More

I know it is a small town, but I was expecting more art to view. Half the art consisted of kids' work. I don't need a Picasso, but you have to find some European artist to display!

The former train station has been transformed into a popular small museum. There were several major artists on display as part of a very ambitious exhibition schedule. High marks!

Small, welcoming museum with an open and airy feel. It's inside the former train depot which adds to the charm. Don't expect the Met, just enjoy the space for what it is. We really liked the Roger Sandes exhibit. The Spaceship of Dreams project was...More

We had a "free" day in Brattleboro and it turned out to be a rainy one. I was with my sister and eight year-old niece. This is a very small museum in a small town in Vermont, so to compare to art museums in cities...More

If you enjoy art you should certainly be sure to visit the Brattleboro Museum and Art Center. The receptionist at the entrance was delightful. We also especially enjoyed two of the current exhibits, Drawn Home by Paul Shore and Seriously Funny by Ed Koren both...More
