Wonderfully curated exhibits - small but worth it.

This is worth a destination trip - small but a jewel with well thought out exhibits. Local food and markets make the whole place worth a trip.

The Museum is located in the former railroad station in Brattleboro adjacent to the Connecticut River. There were interesting architectural plans which gave one some sense of the glorious history of rail travel. The exhibits change from time-to-time, so you may want to check before you go. Entrance fee was reasonable and discount for seniors. Worth your time on a... More

Took the grand kids, they liked that it was small and quick and in an old train station. I liked that it was free for them.

Made it for the "Up and Arms" Exhibit, and although the museum itself is small, it really is a treat; goes to show quality versus quantity really matters. Exceptionally friendly and helpful staff with excellent curation. Took us about an hour to take in the work, with a 10 minute walk right from downtown Brattleboro.

This small museum is amazing! In a limited space they host a variety of often changing exhibits, all different, all interesting. We visited for the first time last week, but we will definitely return!

We drop by this museum often and find the brilliantly curated and frequently changing exhibitions very satisfying. The museum does not seem to have a permanent collection so it is always fresh, imaginative and usually big-city quality. It is very kid-friendly and manageable for seniors and handicapped visitors. There are several healthy and delicious food options within a one minute... More

At the end of the art-walk, this small art center has some delightful installations. I been to this center a couple of times and enjoyed it tremendously.

Contemporary art in an unpretentious setting. The displays regularly change so there's always something new to see.

This is a small museum with an $8 admission fee. It had some great art on exhibit. I had a pleasant visit.

On a 3 week tour of New England from Old England, we chose Brattleboro for a stop to test its laidback cultural reputation. It was a good choice. People here are very friendly. The lady on the desk waived the fee ( we donated anyway but that's not the point is it) because of some ( very minor ) changeover.... More
