This 1914 building functions both as a museum and Amtrak Station. Unfortunately, the owner, the City of Brattleboro, so far has spent its money on the building's front and museum inside but not on the building's rear and small, cramped Amtrak Waiting Room. See photos....More

The three of us were the only visitors when we were there. A small museum, not famous, sustained by local members. The exhibit was dear to my mechanical proclivities, as it comprised mechanical art, with on / off buttons, many belts and pulleys and moving...More

I visited today and throughly enjoyed it. They had some awesome art work displayed. The artwork was quite amazing. It was also very interesting. It is a small museum and I estimate that they showed probably six artists’ works. I liked the variety of different...More

I'm an artist so I wanted to check out this museum. The Exhibits were wonderful and I enjoyed viewing all of the Artists work. I wish the Museum was larger. Not many rooms, but tastefully done and a nice variety of art forms.

Small but charming museum in a cool old train building. The exhibits were delightful , especially Steve Gerberich’s imaginative playful sculptures.

Great little museum in an old train station. The exhibit by Steve Gerberich, "Springs, Sprockets & Pulleys", which runs thru Sept. 24th, is a great interactive display of whimsey.

The mechanical exhibits were fantastic. The genius to come up with the ideas to make these animated sculptures made out of used mechanical parts is terrific. The Roz Chast exhibit was amazing. You don’t have time to read it all. So we had to buy...More
