This art deco gem in downtown Brattleboro (a fantastic, quirky city itself), is THE place to go to see a film in southeastern Vermont. The original "Greco Deco" main screen is the best of the bunch, but the 3 additional screens all have top quality sound and projection and really nice spaces as well. Staff are friendly and snacks are... More

We have taken our kids here a bunch of times to see movies. We have never been here to see plays or other events. But every movie we have seen was a great experience. Snacks prices are not bad and ticket prices are also pretty low. They have spent alot of time making the theater look great. Its more of... More

We went to a couple of movies at the Latchis Theater (which can be accessed through the Latchis Hotel) . It has four small theaters, the most interesting of which is #3. It has a balcony and very interesting decor! While it doesn't have all the bells and whistles of large, modern theaters, the sound and picture were still good.... More

Always had current movies. Saves time by not having to drive to Keene NH. Average prices. Friendly staff.

The theatre is split into 3, we were in the 3rd, the seating is old and therefore very cramped, other than that it was clean with motiff panels along the walls. The picture we watched was a classic (black and white), Two big pluses, 1 no pre film adverts, 2 the sound level is just right. Admission was by donation,... More

This day and age of big time movie theaters you would think they would at least replace the seats. Reminds me of theater's from the 60s. It was so uncomfortable I could hardly move after the movie was over. There was bright lights shine through the doors during the whole movie. worse thing Is they get top dollar for everything.... If you want to see something on the big screen but hate crowds, dirty old movie theaters, and sticky floors...this is the place for you. Great beautifully kept vintage theater with a hotel attached. Get a room and come to the theater in your slippers!

I like small theatres. I like art deco. I feel you like those, you will enjoy the Lachis. Tickets are reasonable the theatres and screens small. The theatre we were in held about 100. Look over the lobby and see as much of the interior as you can, it's a step back in time.

What a gorgeous theater. Saw a movie in one of the nicest theaters I've ever been to. Not sure if they still do plays there but wow what a place.
