My sister and I were there last Friday. We found lovely items to give as Christmas gifts. Also, they offered to wrap the items and did a beautiful wrapping job. The issue we had were the cats in the cage. I'm glad my husband wasn't with us as he is highly allergic to them. There was no warning they were... More

My wife and I enjoyed the iconic building and beautiful flowers on the outside before taking the short self-tour of the factory where we saw row after row of fired, but unglazed pottery. We then spent about one half an hour touring the retail part of the story. The finished pottery and other items for sale were very well presented,... More

Combine learning about the process of creating pottery with purchasing beautiful gifts. The shop has nice displays and the grounds are lovely.

Love this place. Great tour especially if one of the workers are around to lead it, otherwise it's self-guided. The pottery itself is beautiful. I always find something to take home. The quality is excellent and looks great in the kitchen for display..

Bennington Potters is an extremely unique shop. You are allowed to self tour the manufacturing / artisan area... as well as to go through the fabulously decorated display center where you can purchase their special handmade pottery, as well as all sorts of very unique gift and home decor items, even linens, editable items, furniture pieces, trinkets, gift sets, etc.... One of the few shops I found in Bennington that we enjoyed. There are two separate buildings to look through. Not a very large place, but interesting to walk through. Lots of pottery pieces, linens for the kitchen, dishes, kitchen things. Not too badly priced, I think most pottery is high, so this fit right in. Good way to pass... More

Decided to stop by Bennington Potters when we were visiting Bennington. We took the self guided tour and got to meet some of the workers. There are only 10 employees that still make the pottery. After watching how the pottery was made, we decided to go into the store. We bought a beautiful piece of pottery. I really enjoy finding... More

The Bennington pottery shop is a special spot to visit. The building itself is fun to experience. The displays are so well done and the variety of items are wonderful. The staff is so helpful and pleasant , they make shopping fun ! The little tour in the factory was a chance to see exactly how pieces were made and... More

All of the pottery here is beautiful. This would be the perfect place to buy wedding gifts. Vermont is known for quality craftsmanship.

Bennington Pottery is part a history tour, part tchotchke shop, and part serious pottery store - but 100% interesting. I'm personally not one for buying "stuff", but always find some quality item to buy for a friend. These gifts are always a hit especially since the nice staff take the time to festively wrap and bag the gifties (and its... More
