We loved our visit to the Apple Barn. The cider donuts were delicious! The pumpkins and mums in the front of the store were beautiful and just like the pictures you see in a magazine about Vermont. The staff was very friendly and answered all of our questions. Visit this store if you are in the area.

I was driving from Waterbury to Massachusetts and decided to pull over when I saw the Apple Barn. It was a cold rainy day and I enjoyed the hot apple cider. It was also a nice place to pick up some mini apple cider donuts for the road (this made for great breakfast the next day in Boston!) I also... More

We stopped here on a tour! We also toured their orchards up on the hillside, a variety of apples & all the work that goes into harvesting. Took some good pictures. When we went back down the hill & went into the "Apple Barn" what a wonderful surprise. Fresh baked goods, samples, etc. I had a piece of apple pie... More

As part of the tour, we ordered apple pie ahead, and it was waiting for us: fresh, warm apple pie with a wonderful crust, served with ice cream. We even met the baker! There were baskets of reshly picked apples that we appreciated all the more after touring the orchards. The varieties are well known and favorites of all. There... More

Lots of great local food. A great variety of baked goods. I had the classic Vermont favorite, apple pie and some sharp cheddar.

Stopped here while on a caravan tour of leaves. The best apple pie I have ever tasted. Really friendly staff and reasonable prices. A must stop!

Stopped here as we passed through the area and found a special place. Lots of apple stuff from fresh apples to baked goods to cheese. We loved it. You have to try their cider donuts, especially with the cinnamon sugar. The apple pie ala mode is a must. Loved it. One of those "gotta stop" places.

The Apple Barn features real "tastes of home": four varieties of apples from their own orchard; honey from their own hives; maple products;Vermont cheeses, jams and jellies, etc. I was delighted to find apple butter with no sugar added. There is an in-house bakery and ice cream stand; apple pie a la mode is very popular. Their mini-cider doughnuts are... More

Located just over the border from Massachusetts, they've got lots of country type things for sale at inflated tourist prices. We stopped in to find a bathroom and managed to get out the door without finding a bathroom or buying anything.

Great little country store. Apples, cider, donuts and apple cider donuts. Maple syrup, wine, hard cider and lots of pumpkins. Try a sample of the butter cheddar cheese. Mmmmmm. Melts in your mouth. Worth the stop.
