I only had a couple days in SLC(and area) and i knew this place had to be on my list. It did not disappoint! Great everything! Great way to spend part of a day from eating, shopping, just sitting and watching the ducks in the sun and so much more. I was also there just before Halloween so slowly the Witch Fest decor was going up and it was lovely to see everyone so invested. Highly recommend.

Gardner Village is an quaint, relaxing haven tucked away in West Jordan, Utah. It is created around the old Gardner Mill, with stone pathways, a calming stream, geese, an escape room, and numerous locally-owned quaint shops and restaurants. We enjoyed our time strolling through the village, taking photos, window shopping, and relishing the peaceful atmosphere!

This is a great central meeting spot. Great to shop, meet friends and have dinner. Don't forget to visit The Farm. They are doing great things for pets and providing a temporary home for these animals. I love the holidays at the village because they celebrate all of the seasons. It is also right next to the Jordan River trail too.

In general, GV caters to those who also like to scrapbook. (That's not me.) However, we purchased our couch there and several unique accessories and gifts. Though the experience can be fun - Once a year is enough for us.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts about Gardner Village. We provide an array of experiences that appeal to people who love decorating, furniture, fashion, family traditions, food and gifts. We don't even have a scrapbook store. :) If you like activities, we have an escape room, dinner with a magic show, a restaurant, bakery, a farm and we even host community events and classes. We look forward to your next visit.

This review is strictly for the petting zoo portion. Wow - overpriced and not worth it! The animals were not very friendly at all - especially the goats and the baby alpaca. And worse, the staff was unfriendly to us. We were trying to take our small children around to see the various animals and we were really careful about making sure they were treating the animals nicely and with respect. My niece got kicked by the llama and then the staff treated my sister like it was her fault and she was a terrible mom. This same animal hissed and spat at my toddler son who was only standing in front of it and went to touch it. So much for a petting zoo! The only highlight was the pony ride. The horses were the perfect size, the man helping us made sure all the kids were strapped in properly and he was friendly and engaging. Pay for the pony ride if you go but don't waste your money on the petting zoo "experience."

We visit here a few times each year, most recently shopping for furniture. Most visits are pleasant, though had a couple of concerns during the WitchFest. I'm a little irritated that they charge for parking during this event. Just seems to be milking the customers who also spend on treats and other items while shopping. And the "zoo" admission was a little steep for the number of animals. The place is generally clean and enjoyable to walk among the shops.

Thank you for your review. We appreciate the feedback you've given us from the visits you make throughout the year. If you visit during WitchFest, there is a charge for parking during 7 of the 45 days that WitchFest is celebrated. During the paid parking days, we have to hire a professional parking crew to help us manage the crowds and help people park efficiently. Without this crew, the parking becomes chaotic and difficult. We chose to pass along the cost to the customer rather than charge to see the witch displays throughout WitchFest. Most understand the necessity of this and appreciate the decision we've made to manage the crowds more efficiently. We sure hope you'll come back and visit again soon. Sincerely, Gardner Village

They say they rescued these animals, but I have to ask who will rescue these animals from them, they have small confined spaces that have concrete floors with just a little straw covering it. Went there in a great mood and left feeling sick for those animals, it was so sad.

Thank you for your feedback. We have shared it with the owner of The Farm, a nonprofit rescue organization, that leases land from us at Gardner Village. The owner indicated it is required by federal regulation that they have concrete flooring so it can be sanitized biweekly. The animals are taken out of their enclosures daily for exercise and have a pasture they're rotated to each month. The Farm is also a temporary home for most of these animals, similar to a shelter, so they can be adopted by new, loving owners. You're welcome to contact The Farm for more information. Respectfully, Gardner Village Management

We always try to get up there during Witchfest. The village is full of over the top witchy Halloween and fall decor. Such fun!
Also, the shops are full of all kinds of interesting things to look at and buy. We never miss a visit here!
