Brody was our tour guide. I thought we were going to do a sleepy golf cart-type tour, and one of the first things we did was scale what looked like a vertical wall. We did everything during a sunset tour (2 hours), visited the lake, spun through sand dunes, climbed rocks. For thrill seekers, this was a 10/10.

A lot of fun but definitely different than I expected. I have never ridden an ATV or gone off road so I thought I was getting a pleasant ride through the desert with a guide that would point out local attractions. That would have been ok but what I got was an exhilarating ride in an incredible vehicle. Driving up sand dunes, driving over 2-3 foot bumps (and hardly feeling it), driving speedily up sandy trails, seeing incredible vistas; it was a blast. Yes ,it gets a bit sandy and windy but the UTV is amazing the way it handles bumps and, on one occasion, crawls right up a 70 degree rock wall. Not for everyone but we are all in our 60's and we had a blast. Our guide, Brodie, was very thorough and emphasized safety at all times; he kept a close eye on our group and was there in a second the one time a vehicle got stuck in the sand. On the other hand, when we asked for a repeat run across the hard sand dunes at 45 mph, he was more than happy to accommodate. Blowing sand off of us with an air compressor at the end was the final nice touch. Highly recommended but not for the faint of heart.

We chose the 2 hour tour adventure where we drove the UTV ourselves and followed a guide. We went at 6pm which was a little less hot but nonetheless still hot and dusty-just wear clothes you can sweat in and bring sunglasses and sunscreen! Brodie, our guide, was informative, charming, and fun! During the safety intro, when he said we would only be going about 20-30 mph I was bummed because I wanted to go fast! Well let me tell you, 20-30 mph was plenty fast! There was some spots where you could go faster than 30 though. We laughed the whole time and couldn’t stop saying how fun it was. There were dunes, twists and turns, big rocks to terrain over, and lots of bumps. It was the perfect adventure we were looking for! We stopped three times (good picture opportunities) and they had waters and snacks (rice crispy treats :) ) for us. We’ve already told three of our friends about UTV adventure tours that are going to Utah next month! This adventure isn’t for the timid, when in doubt petal to the metal! We had a great time! Thank you Brodie and UTV adventure tours!

Thank you for your review! It is definitely not cool here in the summer months, however I am so glad you still had a great time. Brodie is a great tour guide, and I will let him know you enjoyed his expertise! Thanks for the referrals as well. Hope to see you again.

I'm sure this is a GREAT experience for drivers with more experience who want to go fast and drive up or down death-defying routes. We were not those people.

However, the guide and his wife worked SO hard trying to ensure that everyone had a great time. I feel bad, but I really wish someone would have told me before we went that this is NOT a little easy-going drive to see sand dunes and enjoy the outdoors. It is fast and it is scary. So, if that's what you're looking for — look no further (and yet, I'm sure it won't be thrilling enough for some!)

When I read about the company, when I called the company, when I watched the videos, I believed the tour would be fine even though we were not experienced or in for a thrill ride. Perhaps the fact that we were so uncomfortable with the trip was that we did not seek more clarity before we signed up. At one point, we literally had no idea which road to take because with all the dust we had lost track of the vehicle in front of us. To his credit, the guide radioed to check on us and they did wait for us — and we did find them, but the guide just went too fast for us. The waivers at the beginning were disconcerting. The guide literally says, "For this one, this waiver means that even it it is our fault it's not our fault." Some of the "roads" we took were ridiculous. Another vehicle on the trip turned over in the process of coming down the mountain. The guide and his wife had been so helpful and genuinely seemed to want everyone to have a great experience. I felt bad that we weren't the audience they needed. When the vehicle turned over, the guide took a look at the overturned vehicle and said, "Definitely driver error." I have no idea what they ended up charging the other people on the tour, but that part of the trip (and a couple others) were terrifying. Again, I'm sure they struggle to get the right tour for each group with the drivers' experience levels being so disparate. However, I would NEVER do this again, but I'm glad so many people enjoy it. We had considered doing one of the longer tours. I was SO glad we did a shorter one.

We were excited about our UTV adventure but left with a bad taste in our mouths. All the emails said we would be provided with DOT approved helmets but that was never the case, helmets were not provided or even offered. Safety walkthrough and instructions of the UTV were rushed and lacking to the point ours didn’t have a rear view mirror and we only found out half way through the tour that it was retracted and the tour guide neglected to mention it.

On top of all that there was total disregard of COVID-19 safety measures, with absolutely no social distancing, mask wearing or sanitation of any kind.

This would probably be an amazing tour if led by a competent safety minded company like we have experienced in other locations but I can’t honestly recommend UTV Adventure Tours and their blatant disregard for safety.

I'm sorry you felt that way about your tour. We try our best to offer thorough instruction prior to our tours. We have a variety of drivers, including beginners and experienced drivers that go on our tours. If any further questions, we are happy to offer further instruction about driving, and use of our machines, etc. We do offer helmets at the beginning of our tours, however they are not "required" in Utah in a UTV. We do our best to sanitize our machines, and social distance as much as possible. Families/groups are in their own machines, therefore we do not require masks, but are ok with you wearing one if you feel more comfortable. We also keep our tours small, to keep the number of people at a minimum. We appreciate your feedback.

I had seen how awesome the UTV riding was in Utah on TV, so when my nephews and I (3 grown men) planned a long weekend in Las Vegas, making the short 2 hour drive (a beautiful drive I might add) to Washington, Utah was a must for us. The 3 of us rented 1 machine (they provide top of the line Can-Am UTVs) so we could ride together. We paid the extra $100 to get a private tour which was nice. We could move at our own pace without having to worry about lots of other riders, starting/stopping constantly, etc. we are all 3 experienced ATV/UTV riders, but the terrain in KY is very different let me tell ya! WWE WERE NOT DISAPPOINTED! James and Casidy made sure we got the full experience from rock climbing, riding through canyons, across extremely high ridges, and through the incredible sand dunes they have there. Lots of photo opportunities with breathtaking views! Each rider is given proper equipment as well as a really nice headset to communicate with one another and the guides if needed. They gave great instructions and made sure we were very comfortable. Anytime we had questions or needed assistance all we had to do is radio them. We did get stuck in the sand once, but James and Casidy used their winch to pull us out and we were on our way! I highly recommend these 2 as guides. Very knowledgeable and friendly. They also recommended we make the 30 minute drive on up to Zion National Park, which we did and do not regret. The views were breathtaking! James recommended we eat at Oscars Cafe on the way which was delicious as well. Great day trip. We had an awesome time. Recommend this adventure and this company without reservation.

It's very unfortunate that I have to leave a 1 star review but the customer service here is awful. Specifically Randall, the owner, which is even more disappointing.

We drove down for an adventurous birthday weekend trip and were very much looking forward to riding some UTV's. So you can imagine the excitement when we were able book 3 of the 4 seater UTV's for our group of 9 a few days before our trip.

The day of our scheduled tour we went for a hike at Zion earlier in the day and had a shuttle booked to take us up and bring us back from our hike. Unfortunately the shuttle ran into some problems and arrived late picking us up. Part of our group had skipped out on the hike and arrived early for our scheduled UTV tour time. They then informed the owner the rest of the group was coming soon but we were running a bit behind (20 min) due to unforeseen circumstances. The owner told our group we would not be able to do the tour. I asked to speak with the owner, knowing we were at fault for our late arrival but wanting to figure out what the best thing to do would be and how they would be able to accommodate us. The owner immediately came off rude and told us we could not do the tour that we would not make it. Completely understand, okay, so what next? Are we able to be refunded or even partially refunded? The owner with the same demeanor stated "No. Absolutely not." (I am a little upset at this point at his manner of speaking) Okay, then possibly we can reschedule or be fit in to another time slot for a different day? His reply "Sure we can fit you in for another day, you guys will need to pay full price again for that day." -- Surely you would think there would be some way to be accommodated for a 20 minute late arrival after spending ~$930. Especially when there is no policies anywhere on their website in regards to late arrival. I have to share, I am still very appalled at some of things the owner said to me (I'm also not the type of person to complain or raise my voice). He in no way wanted to accommodate or help us. The way he saw it was he already had our money and there was nothing we could do about it so he didn't need to act/speak politely. At one point even stating " we are going to keep every penny we get."

Ultimately, I am not upset that we didn't get to ride the UTV's. What I am most upset about is how a business owner can be so arrogant and ill-mannered and cannot accommodate what should be the most important thing to a business, and that is us, the customer. To those looking to book UTV's, spend your money on a good hearted business. There are plenty out there. :)

In response to Randall: I fully understand, so then policies need to be listed on your website regarding late arrivals to let your customers know this. If you are referring to us not being 30 minutes "early" for our 5pm scheduled tour time, you are right we were not early, we were 20 minutes late and arrived at 5:20pm. After how disrespectfully you spoke to me, I don't understand how any person would stay for your tour and that is why the 2 members of my group left. Please learn how to better accommodate your customers in these situations, at a very minimum be polite and a update your policies. Wishing you the very best, but people need to know this.

Unfortunately, when clients show up 53 minutes late for a tour, we are unable to issue a refund or hold the rest of the group up to wait for late arrivals. We turn away a lot of business to other people when we are fully booked. Which was the case in this situation. We did offer to allow the 2 people out of the 9 of the group that were on time to go on the tour. However they declined. You have to understand from a business standpoint that we have these policies in place for a reason. Sorry you were late and were not able to go on your tour and see what our company has to offer. It's unfortunate that you gave us a one star review, when this really was not our fault, and we were just following our late policy.

We had the BEST time ever on our tour!! Me, my husband and our two teenage sons did a 3 hour tour on July 8 and it was the best part of our vacation for me! We did an early morning tour from 7am - 10am before the weather got too hot. Randall was great about going over all of the forms and safety procedures before he handed us off to our guide Brodie for the tour. I have to tell you all that Brodie ROCKED!! He was a great guide and teacher. He knows the machines and the area where we toured like the back of his hand. We always felt safe and he made it so much fun! My husband, our 18 year old and I all got to drive. IT WAS AWESOME! Our 16 year old was mad that he didn't get to but he did ride with Brodie and said it was a blast. If you choose any company to do an UTV tour with it needs to be this one. You won't be disappointed!

We had a great time. There were eight adults in our group in two vehicles and we loved it. James and Cassidy were knowledgeable tour guides, they gave instructions to help us stay safe and provided information to help us have a good experience. The vehicles were clean and worked well. We especially enjoyed driving up two wall climbs and flowing through the smooth high bank descending sections. Thanks for a fun adventure!

We were out in St. George, UT visiting family and they surprised us with a dune buggy tour with this company. James and Cassidy were our guides with me being one of the drivers (highly recommend) of the second buggy. This is an absolute MUST do when you’re in the area. These Can Am maverick X3s are incredible vehicles, I’m obsessed now. Safe and unbelievably rugged, they just suck the terrain right up. We literally went vertical up the side of two rock faces that were towering over our heads. Car was legit vertical and according to James they’re the only tour that does it. The things you see out on the tour and the ride through the dunes and rocks is a once and a lifetime experience worth every single penny. James and Cassidy are amazing people, create a relaxed environment and don’t overhype the safety thing, a testament to the safety of the vehicles I’m sure. Just straight forward safety information and safe operators with great heads up before more challenging parts of the ride. The guy knows these trails like the back of his hand, it’s amazing to witness. My favorite part about these guys was when James would say “leaving on high” each time before we headed out after having stopped for some sight seeing. He’s of course referring to the gear to be in when we headed out because there’s low and high gear, but each time he said it it started to mean different things. High energy, high spirits, high altitudes, high hopes….and no nothing drug related HA…these cats are pure souls, clearly love what they do, and just good people with an amazing story. The whole experience was just a life enriching ordeal. My only suggestion is don’t bring anything that you don’t care gets sandy/dusty. I brought a coffee mug and immediately regretted it when we got out there haha. I mean I still drank it and drank some dusty with it oh well, but I should’ve left it in the car. We will DEFINITELY come back and we will DEFINITELY be using UTV adventure tours! Seriously a once and a lifetime experience!
