I can’t put into words how amazing this trip was for me and my 10 year old son. Everything was perfect from the level of thrill, to the scenery, to the food, but mostly the amount of effort the guides put into making this trip a fun and relaxing experience. River trips are hard work and they really go out of their way to make sure you don’t have to do much. It’s more like “primitive glamping” lol. Zack was our trip leader and he was awesome and knowledgeable from the start. Then we had Eddie, Brandon, Abby, Edie, and Travis and each one of them made the experience great in their own way. I was a little nervous to camp so closely around so many “strangers” but we all seemed to click and after 4 days it almost feels weird to call them strangers now. 10/10 would recommend and will be booking another OARS trip in the future.…

Family had a fantastic time on 1 day Green River trip thru Dinosaur National Park with OARS for our first rafting trip together. Our kids are 7 and 10 so were looking for something a little thrilling but relaxing for them to experience for their first rafting trip and the 1 day trip on the Green River was perfect. The staff were friendly, knowledgeable and made everyone feel safe and confident on the river. I think most of the group (3 rafts worth) were beginners/novices. We departed the warehouse in Vernal around 10am and arrived at the Green River approx 11am (after a short stop to look and talk about petroglyphs). We rafted the river and navigated II and mild IIIs for the afternoon. Scenery was beautiful! We stopped for lunch on a beach and they provided lunch, snacks and additional water. Dropped back into the river for a few more mild rapids and a couple opportunities to hop in the river to cool off and jump off rocks. All in all a great time and highly recommend for a fun family adventure for young kids.…

We thought the experience was planned and guided well. Great customer service and fun guides. We went when early August and did the day trip. The water level were pretty low. It felt more like a river float sadly to us with a few level I-II rapids. We never felt like we hit anything too adrenalin rushing like we were hoping for (level III). It's a very family friendly company and great to see the green river/scenery for a day. The guides are very knowledgeable and made us feel very safe and comfortable. I'd go again and use this company for sure IF the water levels are higher and guaranteed us more exciting rapids.…

Hands-down, OARS is the best outdoor guide service that I have ever experienced. This is my second trip with this company and while it is hard to believe, the experience only gets better. While the surrounding atmosphere and scenery is breathtaking, it is not to be eclipsed by the incredible service provided by the employees at OARS. Anyone can take a raft down a river and look at nature around you, however, the guides at OARS provide you with a detailed knowledge of your surrounding environment and make the entire trip well worth the time spent with them. From start to finish this is an A+ outing that should not be missed. I have been rafting for over 25 years and have found that the service provided by the OARS staff exceeds expectations. Their in-depth knowledge, professionalism and friendliness make the adventure far beyond expectation. The guides possess an in-depth knowledge of the surrounding environment that make the service second to none. My words are not nearly powerful enough to explain the absolute enjoyment, so I will tell you that you just need to book a trip with OARS and experience it for yourself. Already looking forward to my next adventure with them.…
