A part of Springville

This is the place to see local and international art. Now is the quilt show that will blow you away. The Russian art is wonderful.

Take a moment to view the work and thoughts of others who strive to paint the picture for you. Good setting, good parking and some activities for kids.

The building itself is suberb and provides and amazing backdrop for any event. All the events that I have attended there have been beautiful and I would love to go to more there. Also, the caliber of the art shown is the museum is unreal. I felt moved by many of the pieces.

I brought a field trip group to the SMOFA as part of an Art City tour. They loved it! The staff there are so dedicated and friendly. They really took time to engage with the kids and help them experience the museum to the full. The exhibitions change frequently, and there's always something new and fun to see.

I have visited this museum dozens of times over the last 25 years. Never been disappointed. The shows are changed on a regular basis and the permanent collection is a combination of regional art and a superb collection of 20th century Russian originals.

My husband and I went for a leisure Saturday date out. We drove from Ogden, totally worth the drive.

This museum has a great vibe. The building is a pleasure to be in, and then on top of that it is filled with excellent art, sculptures, and even some beautifully made furniture. The sculpture garden was closed for the winter during my visit, so I will be back to see that up close.

The Springville Art Museum is a lovely venue for events. We have held weddings, receptions and business affairs there and have always been amazed at how beautiful it is. The only draw back is some of the docents who take their work "seriously" and make you feel uncomfortable at times. They could use some training on social skills and friendliness.

The annual quilt show at the Springville Museum of Art is a must-see. My friends and I have attended the show the last few years, and every year it seems to get better. This year is no exception. The quilts were beautifully displayed and they were a wonder to see! The museum provides a Quilt Location Guide to show the... More
