We did the Mighty Five Tour. If you are an experienced hiker, and would enjoy hiking along an exposed cliff face, with a sheer dropoff to the valley floor far below, while negotiating a narrow, sandy trail that is barely wide enough for two people to walk abreast, you will likely enjoy all five days of this tour. If not, you will probably only enjoy some of them. The problem with a group tour is that if your experienced and knowledgeable guide chooses a route that he is comfortable with (after 30 years of hiking and guiding in Utah), but that only some of the group is comfortable with, there may not be much for the others to do, except wait an hour or two for the sure-footed daredevils to get back from their hike. We enjoyed many things on this trip, including meeting our fellow travelers, and Utah is beautiful, but knowing then what we know now, we would not have booked it. We are very active and outdoorsy people, and enjoy hiking, but we don't care to risk our lives just for a photo or a nice view.

Southern Utah Scenic Tour Mighty 5 in Five Days was SUPERB. this trip far eceeded our expectations. This was our first guided tour and we loved it. Hubby took almost 1000 pictures because he wasn't driving. Bob Grove our guide did (yeah). On top of great driving he did a great job of narrating and enlightening us with his knowledge, wisdom and humor. The park hikes were active and Bob kept us informed of intensity levels of the hikes with most of us taking the hikes and some choosing to shorten their hikes. COVID19 definitely challenged the itinerary with restrictions and many park service reductions but Bob was able to work around most of them in spite of record breaking tourist volume in Sept/Oct. The van was large and quite comfortable. Bob had LOTS of water, snacks and hand sanitizer available for our use and he encouraged us to hydrate and we did. Even though I saw it, climbed it and touched it, the scenery and landscapes were far beyond anything I have ever imagined. I am totally in awe of our wonderful experience with Utah's amazing wonders, our super guide Bob and Southern Utah's Scenic Tours superb planning. I am now budgeting for our next amazing tour with SUST.

We just completed the 5 day Mighty Five tour of the 5 National Parks in Southern Utah. It was a spectacular experience. The tour company owner, Will Warner, was very helpful in the planning of the trip and very easy to get hold of. The accommodations each night were really nice-- clean and friendly. A couple of the hotels were exceptional. The restaurants were also very good, with two of them in Moab being excellent. Of course, the best thing about the tour was the national parks themselves. If you have not seen them, you cannot appreciate their magnificence and their uniqueness. Our expert guide, Bob Grove, knew literally everything about the parks and lead us on some spectacular hikes. We also did plenty of sightseeing, seeing vistas found no where else in the US. Southern Utah Scenic Tours knows how to do it right. Lastly, if you can afford to privatize the tour, that will make your experience even better. More room and the ability to switch things up to suit your preferences.

First off, Will was so helpful in getting our 4 couples a trip at last minute. Thank you. Next, we had a wonderful guide with Tom Wagner. Tom was so knowledgeable about the history, geography & nuances of Zion and the area. We were lucky to see "all sides" of the Park. This was the topping to our golf vacation as it was the perfect day off! I would highly recommend

We just returned from the 1-week Mighty 5 tour with Southern Utah Scenic Tours, and we could not be more satisfied. The trip was originally scheduled for late May, and SUST proactively contacted us early on and offered to reschedule to the fall or May of 2021 -- hassle-free. Communication with the company was easy and prompt. We had Tom as our guide. He was everything you want in a tour guide -- extremely knowledgeable, passionate, patient, personable. And oh-by-the-way he's a professional photographer, so we have access to many high-res photos of our group and the sites. Accommodations -- advertised as "3 star or better" -- exceeded our expectations, and the company is underselling this aspect. The meals provided as part of the tour were also top notch in terms of location (views) and variety of menu choices. This tour packs a lot into 1 week, seeing 5 NPs, 2 State Parks (both unique and well worth the time), Grand Staircase Escalante drive, couple of museums... It was exactly what we were looking for, and SUST delivered on all counts. We can't wait to do another tour with them!
