About
Located only a scenic five minute drive north of St. George on Bluff Street, The Ledges Golf Club offers world class golf unlike anything else offered in Southern Utah. You'll admire the natural beauty and breathtaking views of the surrounding sandstone mountains while enjoying a round of 9 or 18 holes. This facility boasts conditions that rival, and even exceed, conditions at private clubs. The experience begins in the parking lot where friendly staff will drive a cart to your car to load your clubs and deliver you to the clubhouse.

I Recently got married there and at the beginning when we met with the wedding coordinator she made everything seem much different than it actually was, when we did our initial walk through she made it sound like the bathrooms would be ours only , the fireplace was beautiful and she told me that they would accommodate indoor & outdoor in case the weather ever went bad on the day.
She told us that it was $1500 to rent the space and that she would be there every step of the way to make sure it all went smoothly. She said she would greet guests and direct people where to go and it sounded amazing. However this is how it really was....She rarely returned our phone calls or emails in a timely manner, charged us $2000 for the room and when the big day came she was nowhere to be found unless she happened to walk by while on the phone. Our officiator had to go find her to get the wedding started & that was not even the start of it. The bathrooms were not just for us , there was golf going on during our wedding which we were never told, so we had people we did not know coming in and out of not only our wedding but also in our bathrooms. We had drunk people talking to us that we didn't know & people trying to come eat in the venue. It was raining and very windy on our wedding day so I sent a text to her that morning that said " I guess were having an indoor wedding today" to which she replied "the weather is fine up here and we are all set" okay so my 86 year old grandmother can freeze to death along with me & my soon to be husband and all of our guests ? eventually we offered to bring the chairs in and at first she said we would not be able to have our arch until I let her know that was not what we were told. We ended up having the arch inside but not without her acting like we were a burden. The fireplace that sold me was broken , the carpets were filthy and the food was just okay. It was the worst venue and everything else with our wedding was perfect. If I could go back I would have chosen a different venue. Luckily because of our wonderful friends & family it was a sucess but barley. Don't let the pictures on the website fool you like they fooled us also we were told that we would have a bride & grooms table in front of the fireplace but that never happened. they could not have cared less that it was one of the most important days of our lives. The name of the so called wedding coordinator is Lydia & just beware its all lies.

People who rented the home next to our vacation rental had a very loud party , think college frat party. My family and I were looking for luxury of having a peaceful stay (reason to rent a supposed upscale private home) in a golf community.the Ledges advertises a concierge service such as in home massage and room service. We tried to use both and the massage service not available and we called room service 4 times and no one ever answered . So we showered got dressed went to the very restaurant we tried to call for room service and they had plenty of staff zero people other than our family in restaurant so why couldn’t we get someone to answer the phone for room service? Staff were not wearing masks and Kimber from the concierges emailed regarding the massage service who said that the CDC is not allowing massage in Utah . We looked that up , this is not true they indeed ARE allowed to have massage therapist provide service with guidelines. If you value peace and quiet and upscale vacation and expect the luxury you thought you paid for do not rent a vacation rental at Ledges in St George Utah, especially if you expect to sleep and have your family and want them to get sleep, it seems they allow college frat parties here. And it seems they don’t care who they rent to or what kind of services they give.

A BIG DISAPPOINTMENT. We made arrengements for the wedding and reception. The coordinator did NOT follow the contract as it was, I called her in advance to set up the time to meet with the cheff and tasting of the food that will be served. So we did not have any idea how the food would be served.
The salad was old the lettuce was not crispy at all in top of that one of my guest found a live fly on it. The main dish was not any better , the chicken was taff seems that was cooked the day before, We were totally embarrassed ad disappointed with the food. We were not impressed with the appetizers either.
I DO NOT recommend TO anyone to have any event in this place. An advise to the OWNER: if you want to be in business get personnel that are experienced.

You should not pay full price for a course that's in need of repair. Fairways were thin in many spots, have seen better greens in a salad. Honestly does anyone repair a ball mark in Utah. Outside staff was very nice. Unless your into scenery and it won't be there long(too many houses under construction) save your money.

The Ledges is one of the best courses in Utah. The course is always very well maintained with beautiful fairways and tight greens. The setting is stunning, nestled amongst the red and white sand stone cliffs of Snow Canyon State Park. The course is challenging but not too challenging. You have plenty of opportunity to hit driver if you want but you could still play the whole course with out ever having to pull it out of your bag. There's some risk reward shots that keep it interesting. The club house is nicely appointed and the food is good. I love this course because it so relaxing.

We stayed at the ledges for a week and this place has been such a great find for our family! The pool was amazing and the unit we stayed in had so much room and lots of amenities. The only suggestion would be to upgrade the seating by the pool. We had an amazing week!! Try to make the trip to the narrows. It was so cool!

My review is related to a wedding we had there not long ago. Let me start by saying the location is beautiful. The building and grounds were superb. Unfortunately we were sorely disappointed in the service we received. Connie, the individual in charge of the wedding, was so difficult to reach. It would consistently take 3-4 messages before she would respond back to us. They were an hour late for our wedding reception so we had tons of people waiting in the lobby with no where to go until they finished. They ran out of food so only 3 people out of the last table of 8 had a main course. No one was around during the reception to help. We'd consistently have to go back into the kitchen to track someone down and ask for help - things like a knife to cut the wedding cake, etc. Every time we saw the people that were supposed to be working with our event, they were carrying food in the other serving area to other restaurant customers.

There were many additional concerns but the most surprising thing of all was that no one would take responsibility for the problems when we reached back out to management. The manager was new to his position and only seemed interested in defending his staff rather than looking to make things right and learn from the experience. He denied running out of food, and other things that were clear problems. It was so disappointing considering we paid thousands of dollars to have a wedding at a premier venue only to receive very poor service. Unfortunately, with the leadership they have in place, I don't see it improving anytime soon.

When booking this course in Spring be sure to ask about the condition of the course. When we played in early March the course condition was terrible. One entire hole was actually bulldozed completely. I could have paid much less at any municipal course and probably gotten better fairways! They won't volunteer the course conditions so ASK!

Unbelievably unprofessional and rude experience with "Ledges." Called for information, and the person with the answers wasn't available. Later received a terse email that still didn't answer my question. In person was even worse! The young woman found us laughable. So, the golf course is marginal, at best, and the employees are not even that good! Want to be treated badly? This is the place!

We had played this course a few years ago, and currently it doesn't seem to be in as good as condition. However, the course was adequate and had a few neat holes, but several fairways weren't in great condition. Our experience was dampened by one of staff who drove up to us after we had played a few holes. He told us that our GPS wasn't working and that he had to get it working. We told him that we didn't actually notice that we had a GPS and that it did'nt matter to us, to which he told us in a very serious manner that they HAD to keep track of us. We didn't feel trusted or welcome because of this. There are lots of better choices for playing golf, like Coral Canyon or Sand Hollow.
