Your options for getting from Jackson, Wyoming to Salt Lake City are pretty limited. The option Google provided was Salt Lake Express. The signage for getting on at Albertson's isn't very clear and I almost missed it, also you're not able to pay for your ticket in cash on the bus. Both buses left earlier than scheduled, which meant I would've missed the connection if the driver hadn't come into the office to chat.

They charged me a $2.89 "fuel recovery fee", apparently passengers are responsible for the price of gas now?

Anyway, the transfer bus in Idaho Falls also departed fifteen minutes earlier than it said on my ticket, so it was a good thing the driver stopped in to chat with the office because otherwise I would've missed my connection.

I don't have a lot of good things to say, it's just confusing and not a very fluid means of travel. But I've come to expect that in the States. Average rating

I recently had problems with the SLE bus from St. George to Layton. After contacting Heather, Customer Relations Director. She was able to resolve my issue to my satisfaction and will continue to have me and my family as loyal customers. Thanks much Heather.

We've used them numerous times to get from St George to LAS airport. A reasonable way to get to the airport. Only complaint was one time our flight was late and we got there 5 minutes late and they'd left even though they knew we had reservations, yet I've sat on the shuttle for 15-20 minutes past scheduled time as they wait for others who are late. Guess it depends which driver you get.

This negative review was EARNED by Salt Lake Express. I gave them every opportunity to right a wrong, and they didn't even have the decency to follow up to my requests to rectify the situation.
My trip was to Las Vegas airport. It started with the driver. Nice guy, but horrible driver. He was 20 minutes late and was painfully slow in taking attendance, knowing we were late. He then drove 61 MPH in a 75 MPH zone and there was very little traffic. He also stepped on the gas and let up off the gas every 10 seconds. It was nauseating and many passengers were commenting. Knowing we all had to get to the airport and running very late, he took it upon himself to pull off to an exit only 20 minutes from the airport! He said it was a rest break. HE was the only one to get out and take a break while the rest of us were looking at our watches knowing we were at severe risk of missing our flights, which I'm positive, some did.
I contacted Salt Lake Express and told them about this situation. I was told I'd be contacted by Randy the same day. Randy responded the NEXT day saying he was too busy to respond. He then said he would have his manager, Heather, contact me in a few business days. He we are, 4 business days later, and no contact.
Rather than chase them down and wasting more of my time, the option I was left with is writing this honest review. They EARNED this review.
It's very clear why this company has so many negative reviews. Something needs to change. What a shame.

Zero stars if I could. Do not, I repeat, DO NOT ride the salt lake express—the worst service ever from the St. George customer service desk. I’m a repeat customer at least once a week, and they have always been late with no explanation. The one time they were early, they were 15 minutes early. I showed up at the stop at 6:35 to catch a 6:45 bus. I waited outside until 6:55 when I went in and asked if the bus had left, which the guy at the counter told me they did with a bit of an attitude. I told my wife on the way home, and she called and spoke to the guy I talked to. He informed her that the bus left at 6:45 and said I showed up at 6:55… My wife asked why they didn’t call me to tell me it was early, to which the customer service guy told her he “specifically remembers the driver calling my number,” which is false. He then hung up on my wife. Worst company ever with even worse people that work for it. Avoid it! Use the St. George shuttle if in that area!

Was taking a simple trip from Idaho Falls, Idaho, to West Yellowstone, Montana. Pickup should have been 2:00pm in Idaho Falls. Bus is running a few minutes late. Talk to the lady in the office, she says the driver is "5 to 7 minutes away." Bus doesn't come. Multiple people are at the stop are waiting on arrivals from Boise, or a bus to Jackson Hole, Wyoming, etc. Call customer service, they have me on hold for 15 minutes to tell me that the bus will be there at 3:00 and they'll tell my connecting bus in Rexburg, Idaho, to wait until 4:00.

I had absolutely NO room for error. Thank God, I found someone who could drive me to West Yellowstone, because the bus got to Idaho Falls at 4:00, meaning I would have missed my connection in Rexburg. A full TWO HOURS after slated pickup time.

Nobody knew what was going on, customer service was incompetent, the lady in the office looked like she just woke up from a nap and hadn't had her coffee yet. I get things happen, but literally NO ONE knew where these buses were. Just "I don't know, they're on their way." How can you not keep contact with your drivers?

I didn't even bother taking the shuttle out of West Yellowstone back to Idaho Falls for my flight. They were late to that stop too because they called me well after they should have arrived.

I used the shuttle on Friday, October 30th. I appreciated the friendly woman I talked with on the phone to help me find the airport pickup spot, as that wasn’t clear on the reservation email. She appreciated the feedback and said she’d elevate it for future customers. The shuttle was on time and clean and the driver was friendly. My main concern and I why I’m writing this review about Salt Lake Express relates to safety. The driver did not wear his mask while in the shuttle. He would put it on when he got out, walked around the van, and then opened the door to customers. It was incredibly disappointing that the driver wouldn’t wear his mask in such a confined space. The driver also didn’t address another customer who wore her mask under her nose, which obviously is unsafe. Throughout the day, including while waiting for the shuttle and riding in it, I received several emergency alerts on my phone about rising COVID numbers in Utah. I hope this feedback promotes Salt Lake Express to be more safety conscious for its customers and the SLC community.

Rode with St George Express (Salt Lake Express) from St George to Las Vegas airport. Despite the fact it's a 2+ hour ride in an enclosed van with windows that do not open, so recirculating air, face mask use was not enforced. Before leaving St George a woman in the row in front of me was not wearing a mask and was coughing. I asked her to please wear a mask and she replied she's not sick, she's been coughing for years. I exited the van and talked to the driver who was still outside and asked that he enforce mask usage. He asked me if I wanted him to do that, and I said yes. I thought he would, but he did not do so once underway, and coughing lady did not put a mask on the entire ride. I should have refused to ride but I needed to make a flight. From reading the website I had thought that St George Express was enforcing mask usage but on reading it again, it is written vaguely. It is completely irresponsible to offer transportation that is 2+ hours in length in an enclosed vehicle with windows that do not open without requiring mask usage.

If I could give them a zero I would. The worst shuttle service we have dealt with. My 68 year old Mother was suppose to be picked up for a 12:45 pick up time, the email states to arrive 10-15 minutes before departure. She was at the pick up point at 12:25pm. After waiting til 1pm, she asked me to call salt lake express to see what was going on. Its 80 degrees, windy and she had been standing outside waiting the whole time. It wasn't until I called customer service that I found out that the driver was running behind. They had to contact the driver. We didn't receive a text or phone call telling us that the driver was going to be late. After 45 minutes from the original pick up time, the driver finally showed up. Once on board, other passengers were complaining that they were going to miss their boarding time at the airport and had to wait an hour and a half for their pick up. My Mother was told that her drop off would have to wait, bypassing it, because they were going to the airport first. I contacted customer service 3 times, asked for a manager all 3 times and was denied. I was told she was on the other line and that she would be sent an email with the details and contact me back. The last time I called, I was told that there were no mangers on duty and he saw one leave a bit ago. The last person I spoke to, Westin, was very rude and had no sympathy for the situation. He told me to calm down to let him talk. I asked for a refund and they denied it. I was advised that an email would be sent to a manager for a "look over" to see if they could return the funds.

I highly suggest booking with a company who cares about their clients enough to at least give updates of late arrivals, or at least get their customers to their destinations on time regardless, of their horrible customer service. I will make sure we don't use their service again. How can you leave elderly out in this heat/wind with no update on a late pick up of almost an hour and then bypass their drop off???

One of the Reps, Kiersten helped me get a ride on the Salt Lake Express recently. Each time I get a ride the Reps have been courteous and efficient. Salt Late Express does awesome work. The buses are clean and they have never failed to get me where I need to go at an acceptable time. They have even started cleaning the buses with hospital grade cleaning and offering masks ever since Covid-19 (one of the drivers told me on my last trip). They are awesome! If you need a ride anywhere in their area, I highly recommend them!
