An amzing closeness to nature so close to center city. It was a convenient place to pause and enjoy land, water and air. The visitor center also provided landscape perspective and unusual facts about the fish.

Total renovation going on. Pretty much a gravel parking lot, a bath house and a lake. 0 appeal. I guess we just made a much needed donation. 😏

In-season you have to pay to get in. When I was there, there were clouds of gnats which will eat your ears off and get in your hair and eyes with malicious intent. Probably a nice place to go to launch a boat or whatnot,...More

I like Utah Lake because it is within 1/2 hour of my home and very accessible. In the Summer, it is great for boating and water skiing. It is a big lake, so you don't feel crowded.

During the warmer days of the year there is a lot of gnats and mosquitoes so load up on bug spray. During the colder times of the year it is just as great to see, be careful where you step because not everywhere is frozen...More

With easy access from Provo this is where we head when we want a calming water landscape. We especially enjoy watching the sunset across the lake. I am afraid to let any of the water touch my body due to all the dangerous algae, bacteria,...More

To get to the park requires a short drive through a residential area. The road ends at a beautiful lake, which includes 2 camping loops, in which all sites have electric and water hookups. The nearby park is gorgeous for day use activities. Rates were...More

First of all, I will clarify that all of the employees were wonderful, positive, and helpful! We were even given a refund for the last night because we left early. The campground itself is the problem: very little shade, hilly sites with minimal flat space...More

Try fishing in the river. Much better option.
