Easy to access with free visitor parking in the lot just below the museum. Tons of taxidermied animals. Not super interactive, but it kept the kids busy for an hour or so just walking around. And it's FREE.

When I attended BYU back in the last century, I used to love to hang out at the Bean museum. My favorite place was to lie on the floor underneath the giant grizzly and pretend I was about to be eaten. I found it a...More

This Museum is free, so right off the bat its a winner. It's a museum of taxidermy animals. If you have young kids, they will enjoy a play slide, a small cave, and a talking owl. It is straight back as you walk through the...More

We took the whole extended family here around Thanksgiving time. It's always a great place to see the animals for the young kids. They even have a small play place if the kids get bored. Adults can read up on all the different animals. You...More

This museum has grown a lot in the last 2 decades. The exhibits are cool and the staff that teaches the student groups are knowledgeable and passionate about science.

The Bean Life Science Museum hosts a large collection of taxidermy animals. I suppose this is a way to preserve what these animals look like, but I think this museum was an attempt to take a hunter's collection and make a shrine. They have rotating...More

Free parking (must get a pass inside) and free admission. My kids and my parents both loved the variety of displays, the interactivity of them, and the great info they learned. Can do this within an hour or two.

This is one of the most beautiful, educational museums I have been in. There are wonderful collections, educational areas, classrooms etc. If you have the opportunity to see some of the private collections or study areas, it is well worth the effort to do so.
