This is the most fun I have ever had rafting. The river goes under some cool bridges and there was a lot of wildlife to see (Including an eagle!). Our guide, Merrill, is practically an expert with how he flawlessly guided us around rocks and through rock gardens. There were a couple times I braced for impact only for us to glide past a rock inches away. Between the rapids, there are calm sections and Merrill was full of facts about the area. You can see cars that the farmers would sink on purpose just to reduce erosion! Overall, this trip was a ton of fun and I would recommend this place to anyone that is interested in rafting or seeing Utah in a different way.

We were 10 ladies who take an annual trip every year , this was definitely one our highlights ! Here’s a few tips , (keep in mind we went river rafting in Sept) all 10 of us were in one raft and it was very mellow , like tubing , no rapids , very relaxing . Get there at least 30-40 minutes ahead of time , you will take a bus to the entry point , wear shoes that can get wet, try to go around 12 (but show up at 11:15 ) by the time you get off the river you could have lunch delivered by Kneaders , they are close and ask for delivery by 1:40 , plenty of picnic tables on property . I suppose you could also pack up a picnic ! Take lots of pictures , the scenery is awesome !

We rented an expedition raft setup from High Country for a trip on the Middle Fork of the Salmon. The gear was all top notch (raft, frame, oars, dry box, Paco Pads, pump, groover), not like some of the 'loaner', beat up gear I've seen in other rental fleets. The staff at High Country was very accommodating of our desired pickup / drop-off times. We'll definitely be renting from them again. Thanks guys! Highly Recommended!!

We had a blast tubing the Provo. That being said, this was one of the riskiest days I have had in the last six months of the pandemic (and I work full time in a hospital). Zero percent of their employees wore masks, including the older gentleman shouting instructions at close range inside of the bus. When asked to mask up he replied “then nobody can hear me.” The honey buckets were full to the brim with stool (hello COVID) and there was no hand sanitizer or soap or sinks or anything. The trip was packed with no masks on anyone at anytime. We had done a similar trip down the Weber river with a different company and it was fabulous. Very socially distanced, very respectful. Please think twice before you take this unnecessary risks.

First I’ll say something positive. We went rafting and had an Awesome guide and had an enjoyable time rafting today.
But no one wore masks outside waiting for the vans/shuttle buses. Our shuttle van that drove us to top of river had 4 rows. A family of 7 took the first 2 rows. None of them wore masks!!!!! I was appalled and terrified at once. The Ac was on full blast and we were the unlucky family of 4 sitting in the 4th back row. I could not believe this... I’ve been so careful for the past months and this was the one time I truly felt in danger. I would not recommend this company at all. I know it’s the customers’ fault for not wearing masks but the company should have taken the necessary precautions to ensure a safe trip. I just hope now that none of us feel ill.

This is our sixth trip on the Provo River with High Country Adventure. They have always been great. This time the river was crowded with tubes, which made it a bit less enjoyable, but our guide was terrific. Unfortunately, price increases are going to be a deterrent to having this an annual family tradition. The grandkids have loved it.

We showed up and made our way into the building to check in and sign our waivers! Easy breezy! They made it really convenient for families with a lot of kids bc you only have to fill out one waiver with all the names!
Then you grab a life jacket and wait at the Bowery to be directed to the designated bus. They bus you up and give pretty good directions on where to go (depending what adventure you’re doing)
We did the raft bc it was just me and my four young kids! Our River Guide was PHENOMENAL! Her name is Zoey and she’s just soooo friendly, accommodating and her directions were so clear and well spoken! She’s a true GEM! I HIGHLY recommend you request Zoey if possible bc legit, she’s THE BEST! So patient with kids and so talkative and friendly! I can’t say enough about her!!
The raft tour is an hour and a half and we stopped to swim! Perfect for the kids! Worth the $300 for sure! 🥰

Gus took us out on a great raft ride. It was so beautiful, a bit exile rating and for a first timer at 60 years old, I felt completely safe. Gus had a lot of experience and some good stories. Steve picked us up and brought us safely back. I would highly recommend this outfit for a water rafting experience. Thanks so much.

So awesome! Our guide got yelled at right before we rafted and still remained calm and friendly towards us. He was great making sure we didn’t hit into anything and did the all of the work while we sat back and relaxed haha. The rafts are so nice and sturdy and the scenery was gorgeous. Loved it!!

Fun times! Cannon was great guide with a great attitude. Despite the rain, sleet, thunderstorm, and wind everyone stayed positive and enjoyed our time. We had a great experience and highly recommend to anyone looking to spend a couple of hours outdoors floating down a calm river. It’s a low flow, so safe for all ages
