The newly opened Prewitt Gallery features 3,600 square feet of art and sculptures from around the world and serves as headquarters for renowned artist, tech pioneer and accomplished race car driver Hal Prewitt. Traveling the world has allowed Hal to capture an array of awe-inspiring images of wildlife, landscapes and exotic locales. Unlike other photographers who produce multiple copies of images, most of Prewitt's are originals. Similar to paintings, his original images are one-of-a-kind, museum quality and produced on materials using techniques designed to last hundreds of years. His rarest and most unique images are on display in the our new Historic Main Street Gallery - Prewitt Gallery. The Gallery is also the local showroom of acclaimed sculptor Peter M. Fillerup's Wild West Designs. The Gallery displays original museum quality collectable art in small and large scale sizes with subject matter featuring contemporary landscapes, wildlife, nature, unique portraits and images and sculptures of the West. Hal PrewittHal Prewitt is a well known race car driver, American businessman, artist, photographer, inventor and early pioneer in the personal computer revolution. Hal says, "Often efforts spent locating the ideal spot and special moment in time are in great contrast to racing and driving at 180 miles per hour. It is a never ending quest for challenging and unique images. I love capturing nature's elusive beauty and waiting for wildlife, the wind, the clouds, and the light to blend in a mystical way to produce that one-of-a-kind masterpiece. In the front window of the gallery is an astonishing photo of a Parisian scene, reflecting back from the window in the afternoon sun. Other fascinating and lovely photos are inside. Certainly worth a visit.

We went to Prewitt Gallery. They specialize in photographic art from around the world.
They also have prices that range from inexpensive to thousands of dollars (and worth it.)
When we were there we met the photographer.

I was amazed at Hal Prewitt's collection of images from around the world. You must stop in the Gallery on your next trip to Park City, he has new releases coming out all the time.

Gallery owner, Hal Prewitt is an exceptional photographer of everything imaginable and has very high end reproductions for sale at very reasonable prices. On a slow day he may talk about his career as a top world ranked race car driver and how his company developed hard disk arrays in the 1970's that still are utilized for mass storage today. Do select a scene you will love and buy it. Not only will you enjoy your purchase every time you look at it, but it will very likely appreciate in value.

I highly recommend stopping in to see Mr. Prewitt's work.
There is never any pressure to buy, but beware these photos can sell themselves.
It is a unique brand of photography done on an aluminum canvas.
