Thrill seekers, meet your match on Utah's largest Alpine Coaster. The elevated track winds you through more than a mile of loops, curves and hair-pin curves at speeds up to 30 mph. Just like your favorite roller coaster - but with the refreshing mountain scenery of Park City.

I'm from Utah and don't do enough in my own state. On a whim my friend and I said "lets do it" We were in Park City for shopping and lunch and then we decided this was an even better idea. It didn't disappoint. We didn't put on the breaks once, full speed and we flew down on this rollercoaster.... More

Having tried both the slide and this coaster, I felt a lot more secure on the coaster. Now, I may have been fooling myself, but the rails felt more contained - so especially on my second time dow, I didn't slow down. The Fall is pretty around here, so the ride up is beautiful. This is an all ages fund... More

This speedy trip down the steep hill (usually covered with deep snow during the winter months) is such a blast. Capable staff make sure your ride is safe (unless you are foolish enough to never apply the brake on your rocketing sled and then jump out going around a fast turn--I have actually seen teenagers do this). Used to be... More

I went on two alpine slides but the coaster was the best and the fastest. It really is like being on a rollercoaster but for one. You have the front seat; and you have the back seat. Zip on down and just lean in for the action. It is a nice, scenic ride up the mountain as well where you... More

My husband and grandson ( pre k age) were thrilled by this ride. It was a bit pricey, but the one time experience was worth it! They even purchased the official picture ( which was great). It was a little (scary!)

I've been the Alpine Coaster in several other areas, Jamaica, Gatlinburg etc. This is by far the best alpine coaster. It's long and thrilling. The best thing to do is to buy the Alpine day pass if you're planning on riding the coaster several times. And most likely, you will. The day pass will save you money in the long... More

We rode the alpine coaster. My husband said the ride was too rough but I liked it. I do recommend if you are on the short side and riding by yourself that you consider riding in the front seat. I am 5'3 and sat in the back seat. My arms were a little to short to comfortably hold the lever... More

This ride is not your casual carnival ride. You have to wait while you are pulled up to the top, but once you start down, ow what a ride! Not for the faint of heart. You do have control of how fast you go if it becomes too much. Costs $25 a person, but well worth it. You also can... More

The Alpine Coaster is located at Park City Mountain Resort. This is easily accessible by the free city bus or self driving with plenty of free parking. Finding the Alpine Slide was a little challenging as there were no clear signs from the parking lot on where to go. Once we found the location, we bought our tickets. Make sure... More
