We did not experience a long wait, just opened, maybe 10 minutes. We purchased a package with the coaster, slide and zip line. The coaster was great with a long gradual climb up and self controlled ride down.

The Alpine Coaster is a lot of fun, especially if you let it go and don't pull on the brakes. It's like a roller coaster and cant fly off!

Park City and Vail Resorts are more than happy to advertise and sell day passes to the base area that include the Alpine Coaster; but fail to mention it is closed. My guess is to save labor dollars while still charging full charge. That last...More

We were there at the very first part of the day, so we only waited a few minutes for tickets, and walked right up to the coaster.
