Great experience for foodies. Chris covered an hour of Park City history followed by 2 hours of tasting at local hot spots. The restaurants were excellent. Chris made it very comfortable in both visiting the restaurants and with the other tour attendees. I would highly recommend it!

My wife and I really enjoyed our afternoon with Chris touring the culinary delights of Park City.
We started at the excellent Park City Museum which gives perfect context for the history and culture of town. We sampled great food at three different eateries which gave us an excellent idea of what’s possible in town.
Chris also knows the location and backstory of all the hidden street art painted by the world-famous artist Banksy.
Chris’s Gourmand Tour is definitely worth your time and a great way to get to know Park City.

Really fun afternoon with Chris. The history part of the tour was great - this was our third time in Park City and it was nice to have some historical context. Park City restaurants are wonderful so much good food in such a small place. We got to try restaurants we would never have tried on our own and even had food in a restaurant I hadn’t been able to get a reservation for! Bonus!

Thanks so much! I love sharing our amazing Park City Museum and history of silver mining and skiing with guests. I am glad I was able to get you into a restaurant you wanted to try out.

While Chris is a very nice and friendly person, the tour itself was pretty much a disaster. We spent a half hour or so in the Park City Museum (which on its own is a very nice little museum) and then out into the street where we walked up and down the street, crossed it, backtracked, then walked back up and down the same stretch of road. There did not seem to be any logic, rhyme or reason to anything. For having done the tour for ten years, Chris’ narrative on the history of Park City was disjointed and erratic, with the local history facts thrown over her shoulder as we trudged up and down the street. For the food part, we went to three different restaurants and ate “family style”, where we got a taste or a spoonful or “one” of various appetizers and everything contained wontons. Our “entree’” was three or four dishes that 12 people shared, each getting a spoonful or so of each one. DEFINITELY not worth the per person price and DEFINITELY would not recommend.

Thanks for taking the time to write a review. I am sorry you didn't enjoy the tour. It was the first tour since Covid and many of the restaurants on Main Street were closed so the timing and locations were tricky. I do have 100% customer satisfaction guarantee so I have gone ahead and issued a full refund for both of you. Hope you enjoyed the rest of your trip.

All I can say is OMG! Rachel was wonderful in offering her historical knowledge of Park City and the food was delicious and filling. We had a smaller group, so Rachel was easily able to engage with each individual throughout the tour. We began our journey at Tekila Mexican Grill with chips and guac then finished with a chicken enchilada. The chicken and tortilla were tender and smothered in a delightfully flavored green sauce. We then moseyed on over to Handle for some locally sourced fare. We sampled the cauliflower which has a spicy profile, but not overpowering, and the mushroom bolognese. Make sure to get an order of bread, which is locally sourced from Red Bicycle Breadworks, to get every drop of the bolognese. We concluded our journey at Bangkok Thai on Main. Here we had a selection of Pad Thai, shrimp fried rice and red curry. The food was delicious the night it was served, but even better the next day after the spices had a chance to marinate. Just be sure to add a little water to the rice dishes when reheating. I feel each restaurant deserves to be revisited on return trips. Overall, this was an enjoyable way to spend a late afternoon in Park City.

Rachel was such an amazing tour guide! My team of 14 people had a great time with her! She knew so much about the history of Park City and delivered in a way that was interesting, conversational, like she was a part of our team. The food / restaurants she lined up for us were amazing and we all left with our bellies FULL!! Definitely will be recommending her tour to other colleagues that may be heading to Park City for team offsites! THANK YOU Rachel!!

We went with Rachel on a Sept. 14 for a 4-7 pm tour and it was fantastic! The weather was perfect and Rachel was so knowledgeable of Park City and the restaurants. We started at Kaneo's Mediterranean Bar and Lounge and had pita bread with hummus, a salad of fresh Park City tomatoes and feta and pasta with seafood, yummy! Then we went to the "No Name Saloon" and had sliders with homemade chips! We ended at Tekila Mexican Grill for chips and guacamole, a chicken enchilada and ice cream and churros! Needless to say we were STUFFED! Great food and lots of fun! I'd recommend this tour to everyone who comes to Park City!

This was one of the best nights I have had in a long time! Rachel was so charismatic and planned a wonderful evening for all of us! The price was more than reasonable. We were absolutely stuffed by the end of the night! We went to 3 different restaurants learning about the history of Park City and it's Main St as we walked. Each restaurant provided us a unique and delicious dish. I will be dreaming of the orange cauliflower from Handles for a while! 10/10 would recommend! We will absolutely be back!

Gourmand Tours is well worth your time - what a great experience! Rachel is full of energy and delights in showing off "her town" of Park City. The people we met were fun and the curated restaurants and dishes were fabulous. Though our date was not originally on the calendar, we contacted Rachel and she made it work for us. Thanks - am recommending to all who visit!
