My wife and I, along with our daughter and her husband and 2 grandsons used Park City on the Fly and had a great time on Good Friday morning with Ken and Ian. They have all of the details down to a tee and have everything needed for fly fishing. They were especially good with the 2 boys ages eight and eleven. Their equipment was top rate, including the waders, which they made sure was available in all of our sizes. I could not recommend them more should you be in Park City area and would like to try your hand at fly fishing in an extremely scenic spot. I made our reservations with Jen who made sure everything was lined up and ready, including the necessary fishing licenses. All fun and easy to do.

A few weeks ago we had the best morning flying fishing in the Provo river with our awesome and knowledgeable guides-Austin, Austin and Richy!
They were prompt in picking us up at our hotel and helped us find the perfect spot to fish. When their first fishing spot was too crowded they headed to a different spot to give us the best experience.
They had all the gear ready for us, helped us get ready, gave us our fishing license and gave us an overview of what we were going to do that morning. We headed to the river for a demonstration and I was quickly able to catch my first fish (with Austin’s help!) We also had our 8 year old son with our group and they made sure one guide was with him helping him near the water. Once fishing our awesome guides gave us suggestions on our casting, switched out our lures, helped us move to better fishing spots and even helped us get our lines unstuck when needed. ALL five of us caught fish that morning and a couple of us caught several!!! It was one of the top highlights of our trip! Austin was great about taking pics of us with the fish we caught and promptly sent them to us! We all loved our time that morning and can’t wait to go fishing again soon!

Although We booked on line and chose this company because they obtain the fishing license for you, they delivered sooo much more. This is a family owned business and they pay attention to the details. After booking, we received a call to ask if we were flexible because they felt we would have a better experience at a different time. Boy were they right. We met our guide, Kris, at 6:15am. It was early but worth it. We headed out to little Provo River. We suited up and walked/ hiked about 15 minutes to a great spot. Kris is very knowledgeable about the area and fly fishing. Within minutes, our 13 yr old caught his first fish. All in all, the 3 of us each caught several fish, learned a bit about fly fishing and made some great memories! Don’t hesitate to book with them. You won’t be disappointed.

Ken and Austin led 2 couples (including one first timer) on a great wading trip to the Provo River. We caught dozens of nice sized Browns on nymphs and dry flies. It was a busy Labor Day weekend but they found a great spot and it was surprisingly quiet and an awesome time was had by all!

We were very lucky to have such a calm and patient guide, Ken was very experienced and we all managed at least one fish. Despite a few tangles and flies stuck up trees we had the most patient guide to steer us perfectly. Thank you Ken

A great day on the Provo River! Austin and Bennett were amazing guides. New to fly fishing they taught us so well we caught fish in the first half hour! Patient and encouraging, they guided us through our half day trip with success. We learned the terminology of fly fishing, good new skills, and a new love for the sport.

I can’t say enough good things about Ken and Park City on the Fly. The whole trip was seamless from start to finish. Once on the river, Ken picked out perfect spots and the fish kept hitting. He’s an expert on all things fly fishing as well as all things Park City. Don’t pass up the chance to fish with Park City on the Fly.

This is what small business ran by great people looks like. I could not have dreamed up a better day on the water with a better guide. Ken put me on fish! We just absolutely destroyed the Browns today! We had to have caught over 25 fish, so many we lost count and that is no joke. 4 fish apple and that's a record! Ken is super awesome and takes the time to walk you through all the steps and gets you out and fishing in it. He should be nicknamed Zen Master Ken because of his patience and especially his love for what he does. Jen his wife who also is a guide and is just as awesome walked me through the booking process and even text me a few places to check out in Park City. I can not speak highly enough about Park City on the Fly, please if you are in the area and you want to fish, go out with PCOF.

We had the opportunity to spend a day on the river with Jen, and it was THE BEST experience! She took the time to explain the different flies, knots, and technics to two novice fisher-women who wanted to learn. Jen is a standout on the river compared to the other guides who we have experienced before. She has spent nearly two decades on the river, and is FULL of knowledge. (We actually connected with Jen by fishing near her group a few days prior. We loved/appreciated the way that she spoke to her clients, encouraged them, and looked out for their well being throughout their time on the river. We wanted to spend the afternoon with her on our own accounts.) Jen, you are the best!! We had such a great day catching LOTS of fish with you. Thank you!!

Ken was a great guide. He demystified fly fishing but still showed his respect for the outdoor experience. My wife has never done any kind of fishing before and she loved it. Landed 2 brown trout. A very fun half day experience.

Is this catch and release? Do you pick up from SLC hotels? Are waders necessary and if so, do you provide them? What about fishing license?

Park City on the Fly takes care of the license for you. They provide waders as well and the picked me up from the Marriott summit watch so I assume they will pick you up at your hotel. Yes...catch and release. We had a great time with Ken.
