The drive up to Guardsman pass is steep and has many curves. The final stretch of road narrows up to Guardsman Pass and there are places where cars barely pass each other. It is a slow drive but worth it for the parking, views and...More

beautiful, but mountain bikers like crazy on the weekend. Scary driving then, but well worth the trip if you are into scenery. If you are a mountain biker it is a must!

Gorgeous way to get to park city but if looking for magnificence head through Mirror Lake. We used this pass to get to silver lake community and worth the views.

Nice drive from the valley floor to the pass. Freshly paved road. The views are great, but nowhere to pull off for pictures. It's only about a 20 minute drive.

Drive this in the fall when the leaves are changing! It's a beautiful drive with different options to either start with or end with. We have driven this route over and over again for the last 25 years. It's busier than ever, paved, but still...More

This is an amazingly beautiful area, easy to drive to and close to Park City. Even in July there are patches of snow up higher that you can see. We did not do any hiking but it's a great drive up.

We took the ride out to Guardsman Pass and it was beautiful. We took the hike down to the lake which was an easy 1 mile walk downhill and it was an incredibly beautiful alpine lake surrounded by beautiful pine trees. People were swimming and...More

We chose this route to travel from Salt Lake City to Park City, and it was a beautiful drive. It includes some sharp curves and winding roads at points, but it's well paved and marked. We stopped at the highest point and took a short...More

It is a beautiful location. I would imagine if you asked the Huber City people. You would have to truck everything up there. I would only attempt this in the summer.

Paved but very narrow in spots. On the way to Brighton (past the pass) there is one curve that was pretty damaged (with graded gravel surface) and only passable by one vehicle at a time. You just have to watch for oncoming... More
