I am writing this review for my recent trip through Utah Luxury Tours; specifically, I took the Wonders of the West tour in September and it truly was one of the greatest experiences of my life. I spent a great deal of time doing research for a great tour company as I wanted to see as much as I possibly could in a small group. After reading reviews and doing my research, I decided on Utah Luxury Tours and it was the best decision that I made.
What made this trip amazing was not only the amazing sites, but the people who work there and the personal touches to the trip. In terms of the sites, we saw so many sites, it was truly impressive and awe inspiring. In addition to visiting the Big 5 national parks, being able to see the Grand Canyon, Lake Powell, Antelope Canyon and Monument Valley all in one trip is beyond the biggest benefit of this tour. Also, we saw and visited so many other smaller places, like Horseshoe Bend for a sunset, that each day was truly filled with sites that just got better and better.
Logistically, the planning of the trip was awesome. From being picked up to the airport, to the day- to- day travel and getting to the parks, everything was pretty much flawless. The hotels were either quaint and charming, or modern and upscale and everything ran like clockwork. The van that we drove in was comfortable, spacious and clean.
What really made this trip special were the people behind it. The owner, Brian Murphy, is a consummate professional who is kind, genuine and is super focused on making his patrons happy; his personal touch and investment in each tour to make sure each group was happy was very refreshing and appreciated. Our tour guide, Kevin Earl, was truly a blessing. He not only was kind and caring, but his knowledge and attention to detail was second to none; I can honestly say that he made this trip. Furthermore, his passion for his work can be seen and that made the trip so much better; for example, we had several breakfasts in National Parks that were not in our itinerary to see the sunrise and we had several sunsets at locations that were just majestic; seeing the stars randomly at night is something that I will remember forever.
If you are looking for a great tour of Utah’s national parks plus a ton of other sites, I would definitely recommend Utah Luxury Tour’s Wonders of the West Tour. It is a total no brainer when you factor in how much you see and the ease with which you see it. Thank you again for a once in a lifetime, memorable experience that exceeded all of our expectations!

We are so happy you had a good time touring with us and that you could feel the personal touch put in from those involved in the planning and throughout the tour. We are glad you were able to experience the diversity of the locations from the incredible parks to the variety of hotels in the charming surrounding towns. We had the most incredible Utah adventure because of the Mighty 5 itinerary that Utah Luxury Tours helped put together, and most importantly, because of our amazing guide Richard Taylor. Richard is such a kind, compassionate, funny, energetic person, and we could not have had a better tour guide. He was so wonderful with my husband and I, and with our four young children (ages range 6-13). We spent 10 days traveling through Utah from Salt Lake City down to Las Vegas, to visit all of the 5 Utah National Parks, plus other fun stops along the way (e.g. Dead Horse State Park, Goblin Valley State Park, overlooks on the way to parks, a ghost town, and many more). All of the sights, hikes, and excursions were immensely joyful and interesting. Richard did a fantastic job of gauging what types of hikes would work best for our family, based on the level of activity he observed from all of us. He also gave us options along the way, which is so nice when traveling with kids and with needing to be flexible. The trip was so personalized for us, and we all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves the entire time. He was always so prepared, with fresh cold water in his van and backpack for our hikes, and snacks and other drinks that the kids helped pick out. And his communication skills are excellent, with sticking to the plan, but maintaining flexibility if we’re slowed down at hotels by the kids. I couldn’t recommend Richard as part of Utah Luxury Tours more!! We made such incredible memories, and we have so many gorgeous photos (that Richard helped us take, too!) to help us remember them forever! Thank you for this glorious trip! The photos included just demonstrate a little of how wonderful Richard was (especially when he carried our 6 year old though a deep section of the narrows in Zion; so sweet!).

The Tour exceeded our expectations as we were able to visit all of the National Parks on our itinerary. Our tour guide —. Steve Bodo. — was terrific as he provided excellent transportation in a very comfortable Ford Expedition, and provided interesting insight on the places we visited. We covered a lot of ground in 7 days but never felt rushed. My wife and I would highly recommend Utah Luxury Tours if you’re looking for a personalized and customized tour.

My husband and I had an incredible four-day private tour, led by Jason, visiting the Grand Canyon, Horseshoe Bend, Antelope Canyon, Lake Powell, Bryce Canyon, and Zion National Park. There’s simply no way we would have covered so much ground without Utah Luxury Tours taking the lead. We didn’t have much time but had our heart’s set on fitting as much in as possible. We spoke with Bryan Murphy, the CEO of Utah Luxury Tours, several times in the months leading up to our trip and he was patient and kind and worked with us to make sure we got the trip we dreamed of. A great balance of physical activity, good food, and relaxation. We would highly recommend a trip with Utah Luxury Tours to anyone who wants to see some of the most beautiful parts of the country but who want to do so without stress and in comfort. We hope to take another tour with Utah Luxury Tours in the future!

Seeing these Parks was on our ‘bucket list’ and this trip delivered. The scenery was absolutely spectacular! Richard, our guide, was fantastic. He arranged our days to meet everyone’s interests and was able to answer our questions and take care of individual concerns. He is a genuinely nice guy who is fun to travel with.
The lodging was all arranged by ULT and all the locations were clean and comfortable. Our favorite was the Hilton Curio in Moab and our least liked hotel was the Waldorf in Park City. It just didn’t feel like the Waldorf lived up to the luxury image their name implies and the Waldorf screwed up the billing process for some of us.
The one big bummer for me was the vehicle we rode in. With a name like Utah LUXURY Tours I was expecting a vehicle with maybe bucket seats and for sure with decent leg room. We were in a Ford 350 “people mover” high roofed van. Two of the rows of seats had less knee room than economy class airline seats. I am about 6’1” and could not sit with my knees straight in front of me.
Bottomline is for this tour: amazing scenery and a fantastic tour guide, BUT if you are taller than six foot be sure you understand the vehicle arrangements!

Thank you for this feedback. I'm glad you have a pleasant experience with our guide Richard and seeing the Mighty 5 Utah National Parks. I do again apologize for our hotels and lack of luxury vehicles this year. Coming out of COVID has put quite a shortage of 5-star staff at our partner hotels and a lack of inventory from our luxury vehicle suppliers. Typically, you would be transported in a brand new Mercedes Benz High-Top Executive Coach Sprinter Van. I want to ensure that luxury and comfort are our top priorities at Utah Luxury Tours. I suggest for future guests that anyone with special requests signs up for our Private Custom Tours where we can cater to any height or mobility needs you require. We finished a 5 nights Big 5 Tour a couple of weeks ago and are still basking in glow of rejuvenation that follows a wonderful escape! Brian and the crew at Utah Luxury Tour were amazing; everyone was so knowledgeable, accommodating, and professional. It was truly a 12 out of 10 experience. Despite living in Utah for the past 20 years and even visited some of these parks on our own before, the team managed to give us unique experiences we’ve never had before! Our family truly appreciated all the hard work and attention to details Brian put into planning and executing an amazingly memorable vacation! We highly recommend using this group if you want an exclusive, enriching and stress free visit of our beautiful parks.

Our trip of 6 folks visiting National Parks was an outstanding success. From the planning and scheduling by Rachel et al to the guided trip itself, all was handled efficiently and perfectly. Rachel incorporated all that we desired plus making suggestions that improved our tour. We had two guides since a personal emergency required a change mid tour. Both Brian and Mike were excellent. Each had differing information and tales but both were very knowledgeable, pleasant and helpful. Since we were a group of different ages and abilities, our guides were wonderful at scheduling, planning and assisting for our differing skills while providing challenges for each of us.
The cost of our tour was very reasonable considering all fees, lodging, transportation, some meals and incidental expenses were included. Having a vehicle with a driver/guide greatly simplifies this type of tour since there is no discussion about whose turn it is to drive.
I strongly recommend Utah Luxury Tours. From start to finish, they provided excellent service, were pleasant and fun to be with and helped make this one of those "trips of a lifetime"as agreed by our entire group.

Utah Luxury Tours allowed us to customize our itinerary on the Utah Mighty 5 Tour to include specific excursions our family wanted. Our guide, Dennis, was very knowledgeable, patient, and flexible. All arrangements went as planned, not a single missed detail. Our trip was fabulous.

Trip was fabulous!!! The itinerary, accommodations, food and guide all exceeded expectations!!!
The itinerary was great. Saw lots of different things. Each park was unique and we actually loved many of the non park sites like Horseshoe Bend, Lake Powell, Antelope Canyon and Mesa Verde. The tour companies in Page for the Lake Powell and Upper Antelope Canyon were both terrific. And The Silverton train ride was awesome! Great scenery. Very fun!
The hotels were also well chosen. Cliff Rose was a fabulous location. Again they were all varied in style. Cougar Ridge was amazing. We also really liked the Hoodoo Hilton in Moab.
We ate well and enjoyed the variety of cuisines and atmospheres. A great selection!
As for our tour guide,Ivan was FABULOUS!
He was an excellent driver which made us comfortable on some of those high curvy roads. He was very caring and watched out for everyone’s safety He was knowledgeable and gave us excellent hike recommendations but most importantly his demeanor was pleasant, patient/calm and VERY accommodating. We enjoyed getting to know him.
In conclusion, Utah Luxury Tours put great care and detail into planning our trip and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to others. Beyond pleased!

Our guide, Matthew Durrant, brought a whole new level to our experience. He won over our kids in the first 5 min when they saw he brought ALL their favorite road trip snacks. The time flew by in the car as he shared his extensive knowledge of the area, stories to make the landscape come alive and we ended up collaborating on a sound track that complemented the changing landscapes.
Matt expertly navigated us through the hikes (even escorted us on the challenging Angel's Landing). He took care of every detail so my husband and I could just enjoy the experience.
We have been fortunate enough to travel many places but this is by far my sons' (ages 18 and 15) favorite trip.

We were very excited about the opportunity to interview and subsequently hire Matt and to have him join our company. Reviews just like yours, brings smiles to our faces in the office and warms our hearts with joy, for everyone involved in the tour design, tour support pre and during! Wow, the amazing Angels Landing that's impressive, and I would estimate that only about 10% of our guest are willing and able to conquer Angels Landing. Thanks for taking time to send Matt such a great review!

Do you guys do single day or 2 day tours to brice or arches? We stay at park city. Is there a pick-up? We do not have a rental car.
