I was supposed to go to Park City, but I went up to Deer Valley on a friends recommendation. They have a reputation as being super friendly and they deserve it. The snow was beautifully groomed and there were all kinds of well marked runs...More

Perfectly groomed trails, no crowds even on ski week. Everyone so nice around the resort, prices for food was less than at canyons... Some good bowl runs, not exceptionally long, but challenging enough for advanced skiers Nice to not have boarders removing all the snow...but...More

From the ski school to the runs, deer valley offers the best of the best. Our children love to ski there. The food is the best ski lodge food I have ever had (especially at Empire lodge). Highly recommend.

Great for families. Wonderful ski school for toddlers. Make sure to join the free guided mountain tours. Typically each morning at 9am and 10am. Provides valuable information about the mountain(s) and a guided ski tour across them.

Had some of the best skiing of my life at this resort. Excellent conditions, great and caring staff, and attention to detail marked this ski resort. The lift lines were never unreasonable as the resort limits the number of lift passes it sells. The complementary...More

According to their web site, yes that's the last day also. Snowbird in Little Cottonwood Canyon usually is open later. Good luck.

Deer Valley closes April 16, Easter Sunday. While the snow is good now, it will shrink daily due to the angle of the sun.
