Facilities were fantastic and runs supreme. Lockers cheap and overnight ski storage available for free. Only complaint relates to eating areas where apparently no rules or supervision, so a handful of people would start saving tables at 11 am for family members who would show up at some indeterminate point in the future. Saw dozens and dozens of families trying... More

When making hotel reservations to stay here it is very difficult to know where one will be staying. We have been staying here for many years & this year we were not on the shuttle line (although the condo was within a stone's throw of the reservation office). Things in this year's condo were OK, not spectacular. We have been... More

Skied both 1/2 day & full day.... costs almost the same. Big mountain, keeps getting bigger. At the bottom it can get pretty crowded in the morning-- I think we waited over 1/2 hr to load-- once on top though you can find your way to many runs/ lifts with little lines. Lots of blue runs, a few "organized "tree... More

My family, including myself and 3 teenagers, were first time skiers. The instructors at Deer Valley, particularly Daniel and Noah, were patient, fun, and great at teaching us how to ski. The boys especially took off and after 1 day with Daniel, I never saw them again!! They did great! The rental place staff was very friendly and helpful and... More

I have skied at over fifty locations in my life and rate this one in the top three. The skiing is awesome, most of the blue runs are groomed daily, and there "seems" to be a ton of lifts. Deer Valley Resort LIMITS the number of skiers per day so make sure you buy tickets in advance if you plan... More

Every time we come to Deer Valley Resort we have an absolutely fabulous time. From not having snowboarders getting your way, short lines to ride the chairlift to some the best snow on Earth. And the convenience of having Park City so close by for your entertainment and restaurant needs.

Deer valley clearly caters to the upper echelon of skiers. The groomed runs, higher level cuisine across the mountain and the caliber of housing all bespeak of this level.. the lift ticket prices reflect it but are comparable with next door Park city mountain. However there there are far more runs to choose from and a greater span of challenge.... More

Amazing experience skiing deer valley today. Felt like a country club when I arrived and the staff was super friendly and helpful all day. Skiing was unreal. Loved ruins of Pompeii and tycoon for challenging and super enjoyable runs. Had to do Pompeii multiple times because it got the best of me on the first run. I can't think of... More

This resort has customer service figured out. Super ski rental service, then put your boots in a basket downstairs and leave your skis with them upstairs for the next day. How much easier can it get. Usually lift lines are no more than four minutes. They do a top notch job on grooming too. Love the restaurants on the mountain.... More

This is one of our favorite ski areas. Most of the slopes are groomed to perfection. We prefer Deer Valley to Park City by a long shot; Deer Valley is definitely a notch above. The lodges on the mountain are well placed and provide good food at a reasonable price.
