We went on the 3-hr tour and had a great time. Don was a phenomenal guide--teaching us how to safely use the machines and have fun on the trails and in the powder bowls on the ranch. The drive to the ranch was approximately 1 hour from SLC in snowy conditions. The ranch was easy to locate at the end... More

In December 2016 we made reservations for snowmobiling for January 10th 2017 . We talked to one of their consultants questioning about pick up and drop off at our hotel Hyatt place on Hwy 224, and he told us they will pick us up. However, on January 9th we called to confirm our pick up. When I spoke with an... More

Hi Stephanie, We informed you of the 4 person minimum shuttle requirement in your email confirmation 11/16. We let you know on the 9th you were the only 2 and the minimum had not been met unfortunately. We gave you the option to take a taxi, reschedule or cancel without penalty. Of course we never charge anyone if they didn't... More

The experience was awesome, well organized, however be preapred for additional charges. When calling to reserve 4 snowmobiles we were told it was $199 each for a 3 hour tour with lunch at the cabin towards the top of the mountain When we arrived, $20 dollars for insurance, an additional $30 for a 600 CC snowmo instead of a slower... Hi Al, Thanks for coming up to Thousand Peaks. We are glad you had an awesome time. The insurance, upgraded sled and lunch are, as noted, all optional. Pretty standard for the industry. You can have an exceptional time without any of them. Sub style Sandwiches are in halves for easier transportation up the mountain and multiples are available to... More

All good great part of our trip. Need to account for an additional 100-150$ to travel to this location from park city if you don't have a vehicle

Hi Bridget, Thanks for coming up. We are glad you had a great time. While most people drive, taxis and Uber are good alternatives if our shuttle is full. Typically these are only around $40. Had we known we could have recommended some good less-expensive options. Warm regards, Management More

We are a family who traveled from FL to Park City for a winter break - teens through seniors. All loved this snowmobiling. We had a gorgeous, clear day. Views were stunning, you could see all the way back to Park City. We have all snowmobiled in other places, most of us 4+ times. Half of our group said this... More

my wife and another couple rented a couple of snowmobiles for a 2 hour tour. Thousand Peaks is the largest private farm in the state at 60,000 acres. The tour takes you to the top of one of the mountains but gives you plenty of time to air out the skimobile in play yards. The guide was attentive and friendly.... More

We were on our annual ski trip last March and it was unusually warm. We were looking for other things to do and decided to try snowmobiling. The drive in had us very concerned as at low elevation there was very little snow- thought the day was going to be a bust, but they assured us there was plenty of... More

Awesome time! The drive in was easy and scenic. Our Guide (Robin) was really cool and took a lot of pictures for us. There is an open field not too far from the starting point that we got to get a feel for the snowmobile in before hitting the trails. Beautiful scenery throughout the entire ride. The trails were not... More

My cousin and I from Miami had an amazing time snowmobiling at thousand peaks. Our guide Tyson was really cool. He even mad stops on request when we wanted a good photo ops. I 100% recommend using them and I when I come back in February my wife, we will definitely do another tour.
