Every year we head up to Park City in the off season. We are local to Utah so off season is a lot more cost efficient for us if we want to stay the weekend. This year we stayed at the Canyons Resorts Sundial lodge. Great deal on a studio. Full kitchen, fireplace and a great view of the mountains.... More

I have skied Canyons for years, as a one day visit, on my annual ski trek to Utah. This year, we decided to try it as our main focus by staying there, and doing most of our activities based upon the resort. My perspective has changed for the better. We stayed at the Hilton Resort, a ski-in/out hotel with great... More

My friends and I really enjoyed our time here. There was about 20 friends that went skiing out here and we really loved the slopes.

Nice room with fireplace overlooking pool. Restaurant was slow for breakfast. Concert was fun and view for fireworks was perfect.

The Canyons is so spread out, it never feels crowded. Lots of tree skiing and they now have lodges spread across the whole mountain. It takes an entire day to ride every lift just once, it would take you a whole week to do every run. Best Apres ski bar is the Umbrella on a sunny day, you can sit... More

I know that The Canyons is one of the newest resorts in Utah and it shows. They seem to be overbuilding their actual resort and constantly have half of their buildings under construction. That, combined with the fact their snow isn't nearly as good as places like Snowbird or Alta, makes this resort only 3 stars in my book. If... More

As a lifelong snowboarder, and a current resident of Utah - I have had occasion to visit many ski resorts over the years. I understand that tastes are often due to personal biases and opinions - but I have to admit the THE CANYONS is my favorite resort to snowboard. The facilities are some of the very best out there.... Absolutely love skiing here - this is my most favorite resort out of three (please, read my review of Deer Vallet and do NOT) ski there. Very friendly personnel, great slopes and everything is in grrat condition.

And just not enough time to hit them all! So many lifts, so much terrain. You could spend a week here and not hit them all. Some of the lifts are short, meaning multiple lifts to get to the top. But once you are there, you have great snow and challenging terrain all the way to the bottom. Geared towards... More
